This tape can be used for several purposes around the house. This works well for carpeting, but it also adheres well to other materials and surfaces. It can also serve as a quick repair or patch for torn and frayed items, such as curtains and furniture covers.

ADHES Double Sided Carpet Tape for Area Rugs – 2 Inch x 40 Yards, Heavy Duty Adhesive, Residue-Free, Rug Gripper for Hardwood Floors, Tile, and Carpeted Surfaces – Easy to Apply…Pros:This double-sided tape comes in a very large roll (40 yards) which should last a lifetime! The tape is extremely sticky. You must apply one side before you peel the paper from the other side, as there is absolutely no possibility of handling the tape with the paper backing removed. There were comments about it not sticking to rubber-backed carpets, but I found that if I applied the tape to the floor, then removed the backing, the carpet stuck very well. I as able to unstick the carpet to reposition it, and it stuck back down without a problem. We applied the tape to our ceramic tile floor, and it can be removed without leaving a residue.Cons:NoneOverall:This tape has resolved the issue of my supposedly “non-stick” carpet runner which was constantly sliding around. Recommend.

I used this to hold an entry mat down, sticking the rubber backing onto a very low pile carpet. It works well for the purpose, it grips well and holds the edges of the mat down, preventing it from moving around as people come and go. Otherwise we have problems of the mat creeping towards the door and eventually getting stuck in between the door and the sill.It is easy to apply, when taken off the roll, one side is exposed and the other is covered by wax paper. This lets you position one side of it without it sticking to your hands. Once in place, you pull off the wax paper and stick it down to the other surface you want it to bond with. It should be reasonably easy to remove if needed but I haven't tried that yet with this tape (I've done so with other similar products without issue). Very handy stuff to stick thing A to surface B.

I have a Christmas-themed carpet that I wanted to place on top of my wall-to-wall carpeting. I had it in place for a couple of days and it was constantly shifting and getting wrinkles in it. I had to adjust it several times a day.I had never used carpet tape before and thought I would give it a try and I am really glad I did.The carpet tape comes on a roll. It is 40 yards long and 2 inches wide.It is double-sided tape and has a white paper backing on it.You unroll a section of tape and attach it to the bottom of the carpet that you do not want to move. I put it on all 4 sides of the carpet.Once in place, you remove the white backing and it leaves a thin clear piece of tape on the carpet.I was a little skeptical at how this would hold the rubber backing of one carpet to the top of another carpet. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this stuck down.The carpet no longer shifts when people walk on it and it does not get wrinkles in it at all.When the tape is removed it does not leave any residue at all.I am very pleased with this carpet tape and plan on putting some on another carpet in my family room. It really works well and has definitely exceeded my expectations.I do recommend this.
