Does not work as advertised. It's easier to heat a knife and just cut out chunks of hard frozen ice cream. This might work with soft ice cream but that's not why I bought it. I bought it to make scooping hard frozen ice cream easier. If I had soft ice cream I would just buy a regular ¢50 scoop or use a spoon and run it under warm water ..Do not recommend this "hard frozen" ice cream scooper ... I'll use it as a garden tool to make nice little seed holes. Maybe good for starting snowballs when it snows. But not suitable at all for scooping hard frozen ice cream. Like Ben & Jerrys or Häagen-Dazs® ....

My husband is one of those people who are difficult to buy for. No exaggerating so I really have to dedicate a lot of time and energy in selecting even the Smallest of gifts. He is very impressed with this little gadget and claims it works like a charm. It's a win!.

This product is such a wonderful addition to our ice cream section. We use hand dipped ice cream and our employees are very grateful for it! The only reason I only gave 4/5 stars is because it takes soooo long to fully charge
