New edition has several love it or hate it aspects to it. Was super excited to get my hands on this edition. Several things I love right off the bat - the colored metropolis is a major improvement. I also love the new calendars, very easy to see where everyone is.Overall I feel like this is step backwards. I'm trying to have an open mind, but some of the changes just boggle my mind as to why they went the way they did.Some of the things I didn't love.#1 - the event die. AWFUL. The previous version was easy to tell between yellow, green and blue. This version has yellow as light green, which is fine, but the blue is terrible. Looks closer to black. We pulled the old versions die out and used it.#2 - the light green and dark green event cards are kinda hard to tell apart. As the banker, when people would turn them in, I was putting them in the wrong pile as the colors were fairly similar.#3 - the knights are TERRIBLE. I was never a huge fan of the light yellow/white stickers. Found someone on etsy who made custom stickers with swords on them that are super easy to understand. These new ones either have to lay down for not active or stand up if active - just look cheap. We switched them out for our old version right away.#4 - The small boxes that hold all the pieces are going to get destroyed. If you play this game very much, you'll know these are not made to last.
