This is one of the slimmest car chargers I’ve used, and it actually looks fantastic in the car, especially when it's dark. The dark glass panel and ambient blue light gives it a premium look and feel that stands out from the usual similar car mounts, with the slimmer and smaller design giving it an overall more sleek appearance.Despite the smaller size, the magnetic grip is still incredibly strong. It locks the phone in place and doesn’t budge, even on bumpy roads. The 22 x N55-grade Neodymium magnets are clearly doing their job. They really do feel like the strongest I've come across to date.This fits MagSafe iPhones perfectly, and the vent mount holds firm with no sagging thanks to the updated hook design. The only slight negative point is that these don't give you that metal ring you get with most other magnetic car mounts so that you can use it with non-MagSafe phones and cases. So if your phone is not MagSafe compatible then you will have to buy the metal ring to make it work. They only cost a couple of quid, but if you are anything like me, then you probably have several lying around from other similar products you may have purchased in the past.The only issue I have with this product is the price. If you have a look at the competition, and even pick one of the more well known brands, you will still get more for you money with other products. Others come with a dash mount option and the metal ring and still cost less than this, and they are also premium products. I think the price is the only thing they have got wrong with this and I'm sure that will come down soon enough, but as it stands it gets 4 stars from me.

I ordered this in the hopes of using the MagSafe charging head on my existing dash mounted unit as I can't use a vent mount in my car however on examination fitting was different and so it wasn't suitable. That said, I finally fitted this to my son's car and it works a treat.On opening, this unit looks to be well made with clean edges and no burrs or other poor mouldings. The MagSafe head is very strong and has no problems at all in holding my iPhone 14 Pro Max perfectly. There vent mount included with this device has a good amount of adjustment and is easy to fit and to set to the ideal position for holding the phone in eyes view.Oncer fitted, this unit looks very smart and without being overly bulky, the design is quite minimalist so the phone almost looks like it's floating in the air when mounted. As soon as the phone is located onto the MagSafe it starts to charge and it seems to charge much faster than with the older unit that was fitted. When the cars ignitions is turned on the MagSafe head section has a fine light running around the outer edge that in the dark looks very smart and also makes it easier to locate the phone into place. Once the phone is attached and charging the light goes out as obviously it isn't needed once the phone is attached.Overall, this device has been nicely made, looks good and feels sturdy. This can only be used for vent mounting which is a shame as some cars simply can't use vent mounts it would have been ideal had it come with the choice of a dash mount too. My son has now been using it for around a month and it has been working perfectly for that time and has stayed in place without tilting or swinging under the weight of the attached phone.Recommended.

Been using this Cleviton MagSafe car mount for a few days now and I’m genuinely impressed. The magnetic grip is seriously strong, my phone snaps into place and stays put, even when I’m driving on rough country roads. No rattling or slipping, which gives me peace of mind.Charging kicks in instantly once the phone is mounted, and the connection feels seamless. I also like how slim and low-profile the design is, it doesn’t clutter the dashboard at all, which is a big deal for me. The hook mechanism that attaches to the vent feels sturdy and secure, better than others I’ve tried in the past.So far, everything about it works just as I hoped. I’ll keep an eye on how it holds up with regular use, but first impressions are very positive.

I was impressed with this charger, was looking for a second one for my step daughters car that would be able to hold the phone and charge at the same time. The magnet is super strong, so there is no change of the phone falling off whilst going over the inevitable pothole or speed bump, the wireless charging is fairly slow, but to be honest that's the same for most. It maintained my battery percentage whilst driving a 2 hour distance with maps open and music playing, so that's a win! Only downside is the USB cable is a little short for where I positioned in on the right hand vent, but I just dug another one out from my drawer of cables!

Ok charger but nothing special. The fitting is not the best to be honest. Not really fan on hook. Overall does the job but. Price is ok for what you get. Magnet is strong and holds the phone in place nicely. Thank you.
