I’ve been using this lock box mainly to keep my phone away while working, and it’s genuinely helped reduce my distractions. It fits both my phone and my iPad mini at the same time, and the charging slots mean I can leave them in there without worrying about battery life. The screen time setting feature is very simple to operate after the first go.I locked it for two hours while cooking and ended up enjoying the evening more without the constant buzzing. My partner also tried it during a family meal, and we both noticed how nice it was to have an uninterrupted conversation. The countdown before locking gives you a moment to back out, which is useful if you suddenly remember something important.The emergency unlock feature is limited to 5 maximum, which made me take the lock time more seriously. Everyone is glued to their phones these days and it's so easy to get distracted so this is the perfect tool if you need a period of intense concentration. It's pretty nicely designed so as a singular aesthetic piece it actually looks quite good and the build quality is solid too.Super easy to operate and great tool

Die komplett aus Kunststoff bestehende Box wird mit einem Ladekabel und einer Bedienungsanleitung geliefert.Vor dem ersten Verschließen von Geräten haben wir die Box leer nach Anweisung ausprobiert und es funktioniert tadellos.Nicht nur für Kinder und Jugendliche eine Möglichkeit der Selbstkontrolle. Hier können alle Familienmitglieder ihre Geräte für eine festgelegte Zeit wegschließen und alle zusammen ungestört Familienzeit genießen.

nice security box. Obviously not quite the same as a safe as someone could simply just pick it up and run away with it. I use it to lock away devices so kids can’t use them. It’s perfect for this. Maximum size is an iPad mini. Anything larger wont fit. All you need to do is set up password and it’s locked.

Is there anyone in your household who has an addiction that you would like to kerb a little ?Maybe they are spending a little too much time using their tech, playing video games, munching on snacks or is it you who needs to gain control of certain habits ?The Dayear Safe Timed Lock Box could be the answer. It is a small lockable box by way of a timer where you can house small items and these items are not accessible until the timer runs out.Inside the packaging is the Timed Lock Box, usb-a to usb-c charging cable, instructions and a contact card. The box itself is nicely designed with a wood like effect on the body and a plastic top with the display located on the bottom right. There is a charging port on the right hand side of the box. The box is very light and in terms of dimensions is 9.5ins x 4.3ins x 5.8ins. In terms of the storage area inside there is room to keep items such as snacks, cigarettes, console joypads, mobile phones and tablet pcs up to approx 8.5ins.The display area has the "lock" button and two sets of up / down arrows. Pressing the lock button once turns on the display and I saw that the battery could do with a charge and so 30 minutes later it was ready to use.Place the item(s) inside and close the lid, using the two sets of up / down arrows you can set the hour and minutes in terms of how long the box will stay locked for. It can set from 1 minute up until 99 hours and 59 minutes. Press the lock button and you will see a 10 second countdown timer commence. If during this 10 seconds you change your mind you can stop the timer and the locking function by pressing the lock button again. Otherwise the lock mechanism will sound and everything is safe and sound inside.Pressing the lock button displays the remaining time and when finished the lock mechanism will sound and the items can be taken out. If during the course of the timer you need to access the items in an emergency there is a method to unlock the box although this can only be used 5 times.If any devices inside require charging there is a charging cable slot on the left hand side so ensure you connect these up prior to locking the box.The box works as it should and is well designed and easy to use. I never knew this type of item existed but it is a very useful piece of tech.
