I had an outdoor job this summer and I don't like the heat. This hat never felt oppressive, even in humid 90+ weather. I found I didn't like the feel of the cooling band when it was wet, so I just ignored that feature. Best of all, this hat was big enough for my larger than average head and curly hair. The only thing that would make it better would be a hole for a pony tail, so I added my own.

This hat is well worth the money especially if you work on some sort of road crew it’s light and keeps you cool!

I have a side hustle mowing lawns, and I needed something to keep the sun off my face without trapping a lot of heat on my head. I also have a big head, and OSFM hats NEVER fit!This inexpensive hat protects my head and face, is reflective and lightweight, and the cooling band absolutely is a game changer! I “recharge” it between lawns with ice water from a jug, and it keeps me significantly cooler through my biggest jobs. Highly recommended!
