These are perfect for 1/4" jack to speakon. My new speaker had speakon sockets, so I have some plugs to put on, the Leeds, but I bought theses in case I want to go back and they are perfect. 10/10.

These adaptors enable you to convert a standard 1/4 inch mono jack to a speakon 4 pole connection usually found on speakers. The speakon side has 4 poles, of which 2 are connected to the 1/4 socket, this socket has 3 terminals so i thought it might be stereo, but on testing i discovered the 3rd terminal shorts to the end terminal when the 1/4 jack plug is removed. This feature could be handy, but will require soldering another wire on, to connect to the speakon terminals there are supplied extra screws and a small screwdriver, as if the pack is intended to be modified perhaps? The adaptors work just as expected and lock nicely in place, tho of course the 1/4 inch jack plug will pull out very easily if the cable is tugged.

This is very nearly the exact thing I needed, but it borderline useless because the manufacturer has used the wrong plug.In theory, this would be ideal to keep in the gig bag, so you can use a jack lead to hook up a cabinet or amp that uses Speakon connectors. I work with live sound, and sometimes I need to hook an amp with a jack output to a Speakon-equipped cab. The best way is to use the correct cable, but you don't always have one and have to improvise. I've got a few connectors like this already, and they are very useful.I initially tried this connector on an in-line female extension cable, and it fitted fine. I had no issues locking the plug. Then I tried plugging it into my guitar cabinet, and it wouldn't fit. It wouldn't fit my guitar amp either, but it does fit my PA cabs. Huh?I took the adapter apart, and discovered that it is a 4-pole connector. It's capable of carrying two separate signals - usually Left and Right stereo or Sub and Main. This is mentioned in the listing - NL4FC.Speakon-type connectors have a unique key to prevent you from accidentally connecting a 4-pole connector to a 2-pole device. This adapter fits my PA cabs because I built them with 4-pole sockets. One 4-core cable carries both sub and main signals from the amp rack to the speakers. Further checking shows that my PA amps have also been fitted with 4-pole sockets at the factory, presumably to give users the widest choice of cables, since the unused second set of poles will be connected to nothing and thus perfectly safe. This connector uses a 4-pole plug, for no apparent reason. The jack socket is only wired up to two of the poles. The other two poles on the Speakon connector are not connected. The jack cable you plug into it is only EVER going to be 2-core, so an NL4FC is not the correct choice for this application. They should have used an NL2FC plug to ensure it fitted ALL 2-pole connectors.Long story short, if your cabinet or amp uses 2-pole sockets, this connector won't fit. If it uses 4-pole connectors it will fit fine.

The Speakon to 1/4" jack connectors arrived simply packed in a clear plastic bag.In the bag you get four Speakon adaptors, a small screwdriver and 8 small screws. The connectors are well moulded and have no visible moulding flash or any rough edges. All metal parts are well machined and the plug bodies have a nice smooth thread easing assembly.A built in strain relief is featured on the plastic body of the plug.Very high quality connectors for anyone who needs to convert standard jack style plugs to the professional Speakon standard.

This Speakon plug fits my Sub Woofer perfectly. I have unscrewed the blue cap, and the internal wiring is fine. You get a small screwdriver and a set of screws for if you want to change the wiring inside. Handy. I don't have a lead to fit in it; it has been ordered, but I doubt I'll have any issues with it connecting to my Sub. Quality is good, and you get a pair.
