If you are using your DSLR on a tripod for long periods this eliminates the need to keep the battery charged. Very useful.

This power adapter pack works really well. It works by fooling your camera into thinking it has a fully charged battery installed, when it technically just plugged into power.The dummy battery slots into my Canon 250D just like the LP-E17 battery would. It leaves a little cut out so the cable can neatly escape out of the little concealed slot on the side of the camera. This allows you to fully shut the battery door and power on the camera. In my tests it works really well and allows you to keep your camera powered on for much longer than a typical battery would last, without having to worry about your camera running out of power.I really don't know why camera manufacturers insist on people having to resort to these 'workarounds' to allow your camera to be powered on for any length of time. This piece of kit is a 'must have', if you have your camera permanently mounted in your studio and never need to take it out and about on location where you have to rely solely on battery power. Highly recommended!!

Got this for streaming,jay_buddy__ on twitch BTW 🤣🤣[allways be plugging 😉🤣) any way doesn't work just simple doesn't work blue light come s on in the brick but the battery just simply doesn't work and to return it they want me to send it back which requires a printer who the he'll has a printer now a days I don't know now I'm stuck with this stupid battery that s broken fun times do not but this
