I was a bit diasappointed with the lack of brightness in these.On top of that the buidl quality and design aren't great.The sleeve inside that allows the lights to fit smaller posts falls out too easily. When screwing the light into the top of a post the 'channel' that the screw sits in that passes through the main body of the lamp to the reducer sleeve actually came out altogether and the top of the lamp detached from the base (and the reducer sleeve fell out again!).All in all these were far more fiddly than they should have been to install and then when it got dark the light was much dimmer than expected. So much so that I have only fitted one, on a fence post above a clematis to (dimly) light that plant. I had hoped it would illuminate the flower bed below a little, but it's too dim for that. I'll just keep the other as a spare.

This pack of 2 post lights comes with instructions and post adapter.These lights will fit 7.3 cm and 10.5 cm width posts with the post adapter.Both lights have a solar panel at the top with lights surrounding the outside. Inside the light is a handy on/off switch to disable it completely.Fitting the lights was not a problem. I found the idea of using stickers to stick the light onto smaller posts a bit strange as I can imagine it coming off during the winter months or inclement weather.On larger posts there are options to screw the light on.I found these lights almost too compact for their own good as I presume to their smaller slimline size they will also have a smaller battery as after a full days sun it produces a couple of hours of light at maximum.Overall these are average lights that work adequately although there is better out there.

These solar post lights come in a branded cardboard box and inside you’ll find 2x post lights, 12x double sided sticky pads, 8x screws, and an installation leaflet.The lights have a modern look to them with a matte black finish to the top of the light and a solar panel horizontally in the centre. Underneath you’ll find the on/off slider switch which is protected behind a rubber protector to protect it from water ingress. There are two little holes in the bottom, and it looks like I can see an AA rechargeable battery, and this sits above 2x screws, so it seems like the battery is replaceable if it ever loses its charge capacity. Inside the light is a square frame which can be removed and is there to secure the light to the top of the fence post.Installation is straight forward as you put the square frame on top of your post and screw it into place with two of the included screws. You then place the solar post light onto top of it and then screw that into the square frame with another two screws and this secures the light to the post. If you have a bigger post, then you don’t need the square frame and can just screw the light into place. It’s really easy to do and the installation only takes a few minutes.I really like the design of these as they are in the shape of traditional post toppers but with the added effect of LED lights. They have a warm white glow to them and automatically turn on when it gets dark. The beauty of the solar panel in each light is that it can recharge itself through the day, so you don’t have to keep changing batteries which is a big plus. I think they are reasonably priced as they’re not cheap, but they’re not overly expensive either. I’ve put in another order to finish my posts off as they do look nice when lit up at night.

Really impressed with these solar post lights! They charge quickly, even in limited sunlight, and stay bright for hours. Setting them up was a breeze – no wiring required, just stick or screw them on, and they’re good to go. The quality feels solid, and they’ve held up well in the rain. Perfect for lighting up the garden or driveway. Can’t fault them!

I was really excited to try these solar post lights for my garden, but unfortunately, they didn’t meet my expectations. While the lights look nice and are easy to install, they simply don't stay lit for long. After a few hours, they turn off, even though they’re supposed to last the whole night.
