This is a high quality case in my opinion. I compared it to photos of a well known high end expensive brand that has similar interior dimensions. And except for minor cosmetic differences they are quite similar. The only major difference is this case has extra latches on the sides. I prefer the extra side latches as I think this will keep the sides nice and tight and provide extra protection against water and dust intrusion. I have had cases in the past without side latches and when I close them down on a thin piece of paper I can pull that paper out which means the sides are not locked down as well as the front and rear. The water seal ridges on the case bottom, which mate into the rubber seal in the lid, have a double stage pyramid 'Ridge'. In other words it's about a quarter of an inch thicke on the case bottom and then there's a smaller ridge on top. Instead of just a Round Ridge. This makes a very good seal. The overall case is super solid. Another thing I like is the foam in the lid is glued. Compared to other companies that just stick the foam in there and you have to glue it yourself. When you put this case directly down from a hand holding position on its back side, it tends to lean to the bottom side of the case at a tiny slight angle. In other words it is not 100% perpendicular to the floor. At first I didn't like it but then I realized that might be a good feature when putting it up against something so that it leans up against that object rather than easily tipping over. This is my second case from this company and I am quite happy with my purchase. And today I purchased two of the very large cases with wheels.

I need to replace the foam insert in my case, but there is no option to purchase the insert via Amazon and there doesn’t seem to be a mechanism to contact Lycus directly. This is not good! HELP please!

This case was just right for what I wanted it for. Strong and waterproof.Just one snag, it cannot stand upright and falls on its base when you put it down. Not very clever or practical if you are waiting in a queue. I reluctantly returned it.

I’ve never bought a pelican case because I couldn’t justify the price for a plastic box. These are excellent and a good price.

I purchased this case to carry a 22" computer monitor for my lighting controller. it was a tight fit, but as the instructions tell you, better tight than loose.
