My original Leatherman sheath was starting to wear out, so I ordered this one making sure that it was the large size. As you can see in my photos the full sized Leatherman Surge fits perfectly, including the full bit set and saw blade sleeve behind it, the bit extension and a small ratchet I carry with it and on the opposite side a small LED flashlight and sharpie. I even squeezed in a small drill bit I sometimes use to make guide holes.That's a lot of equipment in just one sheath. It's a bit heavy on my belt so I mostly carry it inside my laptop bag, it keeps everything together and neat. I should mention that on the one I received there were a couple of loose threads, and one of them snagged on the multitool. I glued it down right away with some CA glue but just be aware that the fit & finish is not quite the same as the original sheath, but it's a good sheath nevertheless.

I EDC a Leatherman surge, factory bit kit and a Leatherman bit extender on a daily. This sheath is up to my demanding standards for the finest multi tool money can buy. I have been carrying a Leatherman multitool in various incarnations for 27 years and and this is as fine and capable of caring case as i have ever owned. My highest recommendation for a wave, wave plus or my favorite the surge.
