My husband is so excited about this hiking backpack! There are straps and pockets galore! His favorite feature is the stiff back panel because, in his words, it helps him have better posture while hiking and just feels good. The hip straps feature pockets on each side in which you can fit a standard iPhone. I thought this came with a water pouch because a pouch is shown in one of the photos, but it does not. You have to buy that separately. This is a very pricey bag and while the it says we received it for "free" through Vine...we actually still have to pay about 30% of the price through taxes. Is it worth it full price? I vote that there are nicer bags out there, but my husband votes that this one is worth it.

This is a nice bag, Osprey is not an unknown brand and are quite well regarded in this space.The backpack itself is great, the durability and construction materials feel really solid. I've used this for quick overnigts and short length trips and it works great. There is a space for a hydration bag though one is not included, it must be bought separately. I love there are pockets and spots to clip things everything. The weight distribution feels good and even so my back isn't feeling sore in one spot. This wouldn't be my go to for camping but for short hikes or day trips, this is the perfect size.Overall, Highly recommended!

I should have known better. 11L is actually quite small. And somehow expected it to be bigger than it is. Obviously not Osprey's fault. We hike as a family and I hoped this will be the backpack to carry water, food, camera and stuff for the entire family and it certainly doesn't work for that. I still like the bag and use it for longer solo hikes or hikes with friends where I am carrying stuff to support just myself.The bag itself lives up to the Osprey name and reputation. It is designed to be comfortable even during long hikes. It distributes weight very well and I feel no shoulder soreness even after long hikes (10+ miles). The back is designed to be breathable and you will feel the difference. My back stays cool even during 80F+ temperatures.It is pricey but worth it for serious day hikers. If you hike sub 5 miles and hike occasionally you can get by with a cheaper bag.

Great fitting, very compact backback. The internal frame and ventilation system on this is great but it is almost overkill on this size backback because of its compactness. It looks great while wearing it, very light and comfy. It migh be a perfect size for sports like going mountain biking, cross country skiing, or a shorter hike. The chest strap and hip strap will keep it stable and keep weight off your shoulders. The materials are good quality and the main straps have adequate padding for it's size. There are limited small pockets, one is a mesh pocket at top of the inside and one on each hip flap with zippers.

Really great piece of kit, fits well to your body which means less shaking and moving while hiking. All the pockets and pouches seem well designed and really functional. This should hold up well over time, my only wish is that the hip straps were removable but overall a great bag.
