The opening hinges of the item is really stiff and it makes it tough and not so pleasant to use this product..

I ended up getting this pouch because you can simply carry it around your waist and don't need to wear pants with belt loops to clip the pouch to.Furthermore it is fairly big and offers just enough space to carry about 300g of kibble which is my dogs whole portion for the day and makes it easier to just fill it up in the morning and not having to go back and refill it multiple times during the day. It just makes it easier to gauge how much food I have already given out and how much remains for the rest of the day.The opening and closing mechanism seems pretty durable and is easily opened with one hand but also stays completely shut to prevent any unwanted spilling or god forbid your dog attempting to steal any food pieces. The front pocket has two velcro pieces left and right which make for a nice poop bag dispenser since you can just pult it out in between. However since it's only velcro, pulling too hard may just open the pocket and leave you with the whole roll in your hand. I don't even know if this was designed for that purpose but maybe two buttons would make it a little sturdier.Last but not least the snap hook on the right hand side. I wish you could clip it in on either side but unfortunately that's not possible. As a right handed person wearing the pouch rather on the left side of my body this would allow for a small towel (use it to wipe my dogs saliva off of my hand :D) to just hang on the side rather than in between my legs. Since it's so small that's not really a big deal just something that would have been nice to have as an option. All in all I highly recommend this specific pouch or any other of this particular kind for anyone who is serious about their dog training.

We are an active dog owning family and have experience with many different pouches that at some time need to be replaced, in the end these are a "consumable". This pouch is on the more expensive end of the offerings, however the value for money is not good. The belt that is comes with is flimsy no use in real life, the clip as already mentioned will break, the stitching is rough, the velcro to close the patch is flimsy again.Last point is the form factor (being not flexible, it is a stiff construct) means that it does not sit well on the side / hip of the dog handler. All in all, we cannot recommend.

I train guide dog puppies and this is the BEST treat pouch I have ever had. It is strong and sturdy, holds open well and fits lots of treats in it (plus front pocket fits my iPhone well) and it has good belt and clip for lead. I also don't get greasy stains on my clothes from wearing this treat pouch (like you can with other lower quality ones). It holds two cups of kibble easily, so I would recommend the smaller size if you don't need to carry as much as that. This larger one can also hold a toy for my pups, so I just love it (plus it is a slim design and dark, so I don't look like a complete dag when I am wearing it. I read the other reviews and thought the quality of this product might be questionable, but it most certainly is not. As I said it is the best training/treat pouch I have used (and I have used a lot). I have only been impressed and would recommend to anyone

We have two large dogs and go through a lot of treats. I work from home and have one on me every waking hour. We ended up buying three different treat bags from Amazon. Here is one consumer’s assessment:EZY Treat ($26.99): main compartment with hinge, but this broke and the pouch had to be replaced (the seller was great on the return, but they did not have my color in stock, so still waiting on it). Five other pockets as well. The zippered one in front could and should be bigger (there is plenty of pouch real estate on the front). My cell phone will not even fit. I am yet to find a use for the three pockets on the belt, due to their small size. I tried twice to have these be used for poop bags, but not worth the hassle. The “hidden pocket” is way on the small side (won’t fit my cell or wallet). In summary, one big pocket which has known issues with the hinge, and five smaller ones which are way small (cell phones and key chains are not as small as they used to be, I guess). The product does have a padded belt, but it makes the pouch come across as “bulky”. (Suggest to lose the insignia on the pouch.)Guardian Gear ($16.27): main compartment with hinge has shown no issues, compared to EZY Treat. There is a small velcro pocket on the front which looks like it want to hold a cell phone, but from personal experience, it is a good way to lose one (when you bend over, things fall out as the pocket is small and the velcro doesn’t catch for anything bigger than tiny). Please see the picture on the web site. It shows a cell phone in the front pocket with the velcro not catching (nice advertisement of a design flaw). The zippered pocket on the back of the pouch wants to be used, but for what? Too small for a cell phone, wallet, or keys. There is unused pouch real estate on both the front and back, so this could be a much better product with bigger pockets on both sides. (Nice job to keep an insignia off the product.)Petsafe ($10.16): I purchased this one last, as it was the lowest price, and was not expecting much, but wanted to try it as it advertised a bigger second pocket. The second pocket in front of the hinged one is large enough (and with velcro closure) to carry my cell phone, small wallet, keys, gum, sharpie, etc. I don’t quite get the third pocket at the bottom of the hinged one, which does have a velcro closure. Is the intent of this to hold “special” treats? I essentially don’t use it. I have well over 1000 hours of wear time on the product, and the efficiency of the design and durability continue to hold up. (One wish is to have an all-black product with no insignia. My kids give me a hard time when I am always wearing this, so the more neutral the better!)In my hands, after mega hours of use (with the exception of EZY Treat as the hinge was broken), based on the design, functionality, and durability of the products, the price ordering shown above should be reversed, and I would pay the higher price to get what is actually the least expensive option. Life is good for the customer on this one!

I first bought the usual (cheaper) treat bag that have a drawstring opening -- quickly found those to be unpractical as the treats would fall out if I bend over, and if I keep it closed I cannot access the treats quickly when needed. This treat bag is easy to open and close, and its flat shape somehow "holds" the treats in it so they do not fall out as easily. Definitely looks less bulky. The treat compartment has a divider which is very useful as I can store low and high value treats in a single bag. The back clip is very sturdy and should stand to good use but personally I have been carrying the pouch using the long straps across my shoulder so that the bag is positioned more behind me than on my side -- a personal preference. All-in-all, a great treat bag for having it with you at all times, very sturdy material, definitely worth the price tag!
