Hot garbage. To really compress your gear, you need to pull hard on the straps, or you don't get any compression. I've used name brand compression bags for years with no issue. This bag's buckle snapped at the slightest pull the FIRST TIME.

I actually haven’t used this bag yet, but just from feeling it, it feels like it should do the trick. I’m not sure how durable it will be, but from what I can tell, it seems fine.

Bag works very well with the Army Modular Sleep System as a replacement for the standard government issued compression bag. I'm using it to pack the gortex bivy cover and green patrol bag in the medium sized bag and have some room to spare. For adding the intermediate (black) bag, Im pretty sure you'd need at least a large. But for my use case of packing for airsoft milsim events this will work perfect.

I use this for traveling with a sleeping bag. It's not much heavier duty than the free storage bag that came with my sleeping bag that gave out after several trips. Good news it's it not terribly expensive. It's pretty light duty in my opinion if you are looking for something rugged keep looking. Also a huge omission from this bag is a loop or spot to put a carabiner clip or something similar to attach it to your backpack. It has a silly little zipper pouch but no where to actually attach it to yourself. I had to tie a piece of 550 cord to one of the straps so I can hook it to my pack. I won't send it back but I wouldn't order it again.

I had long-ago ripped the bag that my basic, 4-lb. rectangle sleeping bag goes in, so I ordered one of these compression stuff sacks as a replacement. I was worried that it would rip after consecutive uses, especially after stuffing it so tightly and really compressing the sleeping bag inside of it, but all of the straps and seams seem to be holding strong after about 5 uses so far. I found it challenging to stuff my sleeping bag into the large size, but I am physically capable of doing so. I feel like someone with less strength (kids or elderly, maybe) might struggle with compressing a 4-lb. bag into a large and should order the next size up.
