Ne pas oublier toutefois d'effectuer une calibration dès qu'on change la gamme de fréquences ou de rappeler le bon fichier de calibration, il y en a 7 !La bonne nouvelle est la découverte de la fonction TDR (mesure longueur de câble) qui n'était apparemment réservée qu'à la version V3 suivant certaines descriptions.

My NanoVna SAA-2N VNA gives a top-notch performance, rivaling other analyzers at a fraction of the price. The 4-inch LCD screen is easy on the eyes. The only minus I've found is that you must manually save the calibration data for each frequency band, which is not a biggy if you work mainly in one or a portion of a band. Recalling calibration data is as simple as pressing a button on the touch screen, and speaking of which, the touch sensitivity is perfect. I opted for the N-type connectors with better longevity than (tiny) SMA. SMA-to-N-type adapters are easy to use. The unit is in a strong metal housing and has an easy-to-use zipper-style protective storage/carry case. Highly recommended for ham radio work and experimentation.

As you would expect from the price, this is a pretty basic VNA - it measures only S11 and S21 and only has an about 80dB dynamic range and significant noise (most notable when displaying phase). But it does what it's designed to do well, and seeing how inexpensive it is any limitations it has are entirely understandable.The unit is in an aluminum enclosure which appears to be power coated and is supplied in a plastic carrying case with some accessories and a (USB-C) charging cable. The other accessories consist of 3 SMA terminations (open, short, 50R) used for the calibration procedure, two 20cm SMA test cables some SMA adapters (Right angle, male to male and female to female) and a stylus for the touch screen.There is no printed manual, but there is a card with a URL to download it - the same URL also has a firmware download link, and it's probably a good idea to update to the latest version although the unit I received was supplied with the latest version already installed.The display is a 4.3" LCD with a (single point, resistive) touch screen - it's clear and bright with a good viewing angle and apparently uses an IPS panel. The resistive touchscreen is not really an issue because there are so many touch points on the display that realistically you have to use a stylus anyway.I was using this unit to characterize the interactions of some 2.4GHz PCB antennas with the environment, and it very quickly gave me the information I needed. For the price, it's highly recommended.

Der zuerst gelieferte VNA F2 war defekt. Umtausch ging flott. Der zweite zickte von Anfang an rum. X mal kalibriert. Keine zuverlässig reproduzierbaren Messergebnisse. Ein Messstativ draußen in 3m Höhe mitkalibriert, wieder unplausible Messergebnisse. Habe bestimmt 20 mir bekannte Antennenkonstruktionen vermessen. Keine Messung war plausibel. Firmware auf aktuellem Stand 0.5.0. Messleitungen durchgemessen, alles perfekt. Alle Resonanzpunkte des Nano VNA lagen deutlich Abseits. Alle möglichen Infos zu dem Gerät aus dem Netz geholt. Keine plausible Messung , obgleich ich keine Fehler im Messaufbau hatte. Ich bin nach knapp 4 Wochen zu dem Fazit gelangt, dass es eine Zumutung ist, ein Messgerät ohne jedwede Dokumentation zu verkaufen. Auch wenn das Netz voll von Infos ist, ist es Aufgabe des Herstellers seine Ware zu dokumentieren und nicht die Holschuld des Käufers. Ich mache dieses Funkbusines seit 1982, weiß daher, das der Fehler in den meisten Fällen vor dem Gerät sitzt. Aber es ist meiner Einschätzung nach ein untaugliches Werkzeug, wenn man 4 Wochen lang mit ihm kämpfen muss, statt damit zu arbeiten.Für etwa das 3 1/2 fache gibt es solides Messwerkzeug von RigExpert, welches zuverlässig funktioniert und sauber dokumentiert ist. Das ist langfristig sicher besser investiertes Geld.PS.: Die inzwischen 1000 fach im Netz kursierenden Kommentare zu angeblich unresonanten Aufsteckantennen, sind unqualifizierter Unsinn ! Ohne seriösen Messaufbau auf einem passenden Messstativ mit einem VNA überhaupt nicht zu messen.

Funktioniert alles super, der VNA kommt in einem sehr stabilem Metallgehäuse und das Zubehör macht auch einen guten Eindruck.Der einzige Kritikpunkt für mich ist, dass es sich um einen resistiven Touchscreen handelt, dieser funktioniert aber auch vollkommen Problemfrei.Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

I bought the n-type version of this analyser to set up antennas on 144mhz 432mhz and 1.2ghz. Firstly it was an easy choice as it covers these frequencies. It is fairly robust, It is easy to use portable (if you need to get up a roof or tower) as it contains a chargeable battery. The screen is not that bright in sunlight but I was still able to see the swr traces with no problem. It provides many functions via a menu using a touchscreen pen. For instance it will add markers to traces to highlight the lowest swr point so that you can calculate changes that might be required. You can define a freq range easily and it will provide a quick sweep. In terms of accuracy, the swr readouts on my radio match the readings given by the VNA. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It will be useful for many future measurements.
