I bought a Reddington Path fly rod combo, which came with a RIO 5 weight line. From what I've read, RIO is a pretty reputable company. However, upon literally hours of practicing my cast, I could not shoot the line at all, and have been getting pretty discouraged. A rep at Orvis mentioned I should change out the line, so I gave this one a shot. Right out the bat, this fly line is shooting out of the rod like butter, super slick!! I can't believe it! I finally know what it feels like to properly cast a fly line, thanks to this product. THANK YOU for making such a quality product at an affordable price. Cant speak for longevity, but it does feel 1000 times better than the Rio line. Came on a spool, with the welded loops/labels as advertised. Will certainly purchase again.
