Zu dem Router brauche ich nicht viel zu sagen, wer sich bis hierher verirrt hat, weiß was kauft. Bleibt mir also nur zu sagen, dass warten hat sich gelohnt. Ich habe lange gewartet, dass er hier unter 120 Euro kommt.

El equipo posee un diseño minimalista y de dimensiones pequeñas, apto para lugares con espacios reducidos. Usandolo con la app de wifiman o de unifi se complementan para brindar una mejor administración y monitoreo. No olvidar que necesita Access Points para que pueda brindar cobertura WiFi

Ich habe Unifi seit mehrere Jahren in Einsatz.Zu Hause hatte ich einen alten Unifi Secure Gateway und einen CloudKey 2 in Einsatz. Der USG war in die Jahre gekommen und konnte nicht mehr alle neue Features bereitstellen (WireGuard oder OpenVPN, Ad-Filtering und Content-Filtering usw.)Das CGU ersetzt den CloudKey und USG in einem schicken Gerät. Es hat auch 4 LAN Ethernet Schnittstellen bzw. 3 LAN und 2 WAN und unterstützt auch SD-WAN mit entweder Failover oder Loadbalancing. Für den Preis, unschlagbar!Die Umstellung hat nur 10 Minuten oder so gedauert:* Backup von Cloudkey beziehen* Verbinden mit dem CGU und Backup einspielen* Cloudkey und USG ausschalten und WAN umstecken, fertig!(OK, es hat ein bisschen lange gedauert, weil ich auch ein PiHole habe und die habe ich auch gleichzeitig aktualisiert und Debian hat die feste IP-Adresse Konfiguration rausgenommen und ich hatte keinen DNS mehr! Feste IP-Adresse in PC eintragen, direkt auf dem CGU und temporär DHCP einschalten und 9.9.9.9 als DNS-Server eintragen, bis ich den PiHoie wieder online war. Mea Cupla.)

Es ist gut . Zu montieren.Es gibt 1 wan stand maxig . Aber es lässt sich ein zwei einrichten. Wenn man ihn braucht, für Redundanz.Er hat auch noch Rj45 (Switch) integriert.Er lässt sich wie alle unifi Geräte gut einfügen. Super einrichten. Man kann sehr viel Einstellungen vor nehmen. VPN, .....Reagiert und arbeitet sehr gut.Bin begeistert.

Wanted a firewall between me and the internet that wasn't managed by my internet provider. Also wanted one that I didn't have to have a cloud-based account to access and manage.So far I am impressed as it seems to give you all the options you need to manage but not overwhelm with too many knobs that might require a person to be a network security specialist to understand.I have been watching the security logs for a few weeks as somebody supposedly in Amsterdam seems determined to brute force my security DVR on my network. Made me rethink my home network security to see some of the determined hacking attempts going on.Pros to me:Can manage from home network without creating cloud based account through the manufacture. It is there if you want.Simple to use via app or web based, very decent GUI interfaceGood amount of network metrics for knowing whats going on with the network.Keeps itself updated to latest security releases if you want to allow, manually selectable otherwise.Throughput seems to be respectable with no stability issues noticed with the unit through the first 2 months of use.Cons:Only a insignificant one for most people in that I wish all ethernet ports were 2.5G instead of one 2.5g and the other 4 being standard 1G.

It’s a huge improvement over last gen Security Gateway, it has no problem handling modern broadband speeds with traffic analysis turned on. It has integrated console reducing the installation’s footprint and cost. The screen on the front is a nice addon allowing you to quickly debug what’s going on with the device.
