Works like it should. Just don't get the release mechanism twisted sideways, or it won't work as intended. I use it regularly on my vehicles.

My dad just recently built a new garage. Bought this for Christmas for him, as he restores cars. This was so useful for him. Sturdy and simple to use

Very nicely made. Use it as a prop on the hood of my classic car. Well made and more heavy-duty than I expected. Nice enough that it doesn't diminish my vehicle.

Back in the 70's, I was a Snap On Tools dealer and we sold this hood holder on the trucks. It was a hit back then and it's a hit now with me. I have two...one for the hood of the street rod and one for the trunk. Fully adjustable with rubber on each end make these perfect for any application.
