I got these mainly for a family barbecue we were hosting and wanted something that would cut down on single-use waste without switching to metal straws, which not everyone likes. These seemed like a good middle ground – reusable but still with that classic straw feel. I liked that it came in a big pack, so there were more than enough to go round for drinks, cocktails, and juices.They look good in a drink and feel decent quality. They’re rigid enough to hold their shape and don’t feel flimsy like some cheap plastic straws. We’ve used them with everything from fizzy drinks to smoothies. For lighter drinks, they’re absolutely fine, but they are quite narrow, so anything too thick doesn’t work very well. Something like a milkshake or frozen daiquiri is a bit of a struggle.The included cleaning brush is a nice addition and fits through the straws without too much effort, but you’ll definitely want to rinse them soon after use to avoid sticky build-up. They do wash up well and seem like they’ll last quite a while with proper care.For the price, they’re a practical option for parties, especially when you don’t want to hand-wash a load of delicate items. If they were a bit wider, they’d be more useful all round, but as they are, they’re great for standard drinks.
