Recommend laying it flat so it doesn't raise due to how it's shipping causing a tripping hazard. But other than that perfect for what we needed!

I have some Govee outdoor strings lights around our back porch and the cords go to an exterior outlet by the back door. I needed a solution to make sure we didn't trip on the extension cord every time we walked out the back door and I purchased this. The product is easy to use, I just had to use a utility knife to cut along the middle line on the bottom to open up the groove and put in the extension cord. This now sits just under the back door and keeps the cord from being tripped on. If you wanted to use the other 2 channels it has lines on the bottom for each to cut with a utility knife, but I just used the biggest channel in the middle for my thicker extension cord.
