This is a great way to babyproof the home without drilling into the wall, however, I'm not sure of the paint damage this can cause when the adhesion is removed. I'd be more cautious about using this everywhere, and use on only smooth surface as that's where the adhesion is best.

This multi-pack of adhesive furniture anchors requires no tools and is easy to install. I'd recommend cleaning both the furniture and the wall surface to ensure the strongest adhesion. I was able to apply these anchors to our cabinets, dressers, bookshelves and televisions. However, I'd only recommend using this type of anchors if you have smooth surface; if the wall is rough or popcorn, I'd recommend using the drill-type of furniture anchors.

This is a package of 20 furniture anchors. I used them to secure a dresser to the wall. Instructions were straightforward - adhere to the wall, then to the furniture, then slip the metal locking ziptie through the attachment points and secure. I don’t know if they’ll damage my walls when I remove them, but I don’t really care in the end - it was more important to me to ensure the toddler in our lives couldn’t tip things over onto herself.
