This was a cheap on/off kill switch for my Stihl leaf blower. The switch installs exactly as needed. However, this made in China part is cheap because the ON symbol is actually OFF and the OFF symbol is on. (Tested with a continuity tester). Reversing the two wires does not resolve the problem. Yes, this switch works, but it is manufactured butt backwards.

On is off and off is on doesn't make a difference if you switch the wires around

Cheap fix. You'll want flip the rocker so the switch is lined up correctly. Someone had there head on backwards at the factory...
