These will be incredibly helpful for making picture frames, though the largest width you can do with these is about an inch. I wish I could go a little bigger. Plus if it comes out beyond the metal, you can get a bit of a gap. See my picture.Otherwise I totally recommend these!

So when I ordered these, the picture indicated a set of four clamps. What I received was two clamps. It's taking all of my will to not deduct a star for that, but I'm going to go ahead and rate these based purely on functionality.I got these because I like to make my own picture frames and these looked like nice, low profile clamps that are similar in design to the one that came with my V-nailer system. Do they work? Yeah, they get the job done. I don't like them, though. The problem is that the screws are very hard to turn and the handle is super clunky and hard to get a good grip on. A larger, less round handle would allow you to get better clamping pressure, but for something that just holds two pieces of wood at a 90 degree angle while you pop in some nails or drive some pocket screws, they'll work.
