This tree skirt is very small, and not attractive in person as it was portrayed in the product description. I ended up not using it.

Die Baumdecke gefällt mir gut, hat ein schönes Strickmuster.Leider ist sie recht klein, obwohl es schon die größte Größe ist.

This skirt is so pretty and nicely made. I have a 4’ tree to put this under. If it looks a bit big I can easily scrunch it up around the tree trunk.I’ll wait to wash it and get those packaging wrinkles out. The knit is very thin. It’s a nice neutral color for any decor. No smell to it either. A good value for the cost.

If it wasn't for the fact that I really want to use this as the Christmas tree skirt, I would use it as a shawl, it is that soft and so pretty, you would have thought that your grandmother had knitted it for you for Christmas. One drawback is that it does not feel like it is 36" round, it is, but it just doesn't look it. So, I will be using it on my smaller tree not the large one in the family room.

This is a bit classier than what we're accustomed to and I'm very much looking forward to Christmas. With that being said, my tree isn't up yet, and I haven't officially tested this. But all things considered, I don't feel it's necessary here. I ran it through a delicate cycle in the wash without incident, so it appears to hold up well. If you do wash this, I would suggest a delicate cycle, it feels like something your grandmother might knit for you so I wouldn't run this on a normal cycle. The knitting is very elegant and feels durable enough to handle sitting under the tree. I actually expect my cat, as he usually does, to sleep on this behind the tree when the season comes. It's very soft and if I were a cat, I expect I'd do the same. This looks exactly like the images and if you're looking for something a bit more elegant than a traditional white tree skirt, you really cant go wrong here.On a side note, I did set up our Christmas train and ran a loop around this and it worked out really well everywhere, except for where they tie together. I had to get creative and make sure things were flat with it but ultimately it worked well.
