I'm using these on a lower gutter in my deck, so after trimming a bit of length off, I put them up. Using a planter at the bottom, I tested them using a garden hose sprayed into the gutter. It was beautiful and worked great directing the flow into the planter. So much nicer looking than the downspout I was using.They seem to be well made and strong, butwe will see long term.I bought another set for the other end of the deck, looking forward to some real rainfall and seeing them in action!
