I have been in my house for 25 years now and have never had a hose holder. I try to wind the hose up but it just doesn’t stay neat. I cannot afford those big fancy, covered windup holders and I am not sure if the plastic would hold up to our extreme winter temperature and blistering summer heat (which we can experience both in 24 hours).I saw these hose holders and thought they would serve my purpose perfectly. I plan to install one on the outer wall near the faucet and one on the inner wall in my garage near the other faucet. When spring arrives, I will be able to water my garden and rinse down the driveway then neatly wind up the hose and hang it up.The holders appear to be very strong. I did notice that they differ from the listing photo which shows 3 mounting holes on each bracket (top, middle, bottom). The hose holders I received only have 2 mounting holes (middle, bottom) and I wonder if this will affect the strength or sturdiness of the installation.It is dead winter here now but I look forward to installing these wall mount hose holders. Just looking at them, I realize that they could be used to hold a lot of other things as well. I have a big work light that I keep attached to a long extension cord. This could be held on the hose mount as well. I think, too, that a couple of these hose holders could be used to wall mount my aluminum ladder instead of having it laying on the ground.At a cost of $20.99 for 2 (January 2025), up from $16.99 in December, I feel that this is still a very good price for a sturdy hose holder which can function for many other things. It’s easy to install and comes with the necessary hardware.

We ordered this for our hose in the garage but since there are two, found that it holds extension cords nicely as well. The holders are very sturdy when attached to a stud and will hold a good amount of weight. They’re easy to install and work as intended, happy with this item!
