Ettore Sottsass
Der in Innsbruck geborene Sottsass ist international als einer der Initiatoren der Erneuerung von Design und Architektur in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts bekannt. Die Energie seiner Formensprache und die Lebendigkeit seines Designs und seiner Farben sind der Gegenentwurf zu Intellektualismus und Starrheit. In seiner langen Karriere hat er Preise erhalten, und seine Werke werden in Museen auf der ganzen Welt ausgestellt.

Posate eccellenti per fattura, qualità, comodità di utilizzo e design. Peso adeguato e ben bilanciato, impugnatura arrotondata e affusolata, resistenza anche premendo sulla forchetta con forza ottima! Vanno tranquillamente in lavastoviglie, rimanendo sempre belle lucide e splendenti!

I have been exposed to, and using Alessis (Italian) products for my entire life. They offer an unbelievably wide-range of products, each more stylish and lovely than the next.This style of fork is that which I chose for myself long ago. I was living in Europe, and located these during a visit to Milan. However, Alessi was sometimes available in certain extremely high-end design shops, to be found throughout various locations in Western Europe. I was not in America at the time, and can offer no commentary as to the American availability of Allessi.at that time. I was surprised to observe that Amazon now carries an extensive collection of Alessi products, each more unique and lovely than the last.Alessi flatware is of highest quality, with a highly polished sheen and finish. The lovely and high-level polish work has fooled those far more experienced than I, into assuming that a piece of silver was under observation. These are of 18/10 stainless steel, and are extremely strong, with a quality that seemingly repels scratches.Alessi is that little step up into the world of Italian design-ware. Alessi uses very high-level, and extremely talented "name" designers for their various pieces, as well as extremely gifted, but complete "unknowns". Many, many Alessi products are shown in design museums across the world, as a result of the extremely high design-level.Alessii is a consistent winner of the highest-level design awards that stand to offer in this area of design. Many books have been written concerning Alessi, and it's theory of design, I recommend at least glancing at those books to follow the trajectory of an absolute "shooting star" in the design world.. Going back though a list of Alessi products, will impress one with the extremely famous names in the design arena that began their careers with Alessi.I wash my Alessi flatware in the dishwasher, on the top shelf, eschewing the bottom level flatware baskets. This has contributed to maintaining the like-new appearance of my pieces. After more than 30 years of use,Alessi pieces appear to have just marched out of the showroom window.I highly recommend this flatware. The quality is superb, and each different piece is of a glorious style, not commonly to be found in such wares. The prices are extremely high, both in America, and across the world. But you are paying for a pieces of design art, and the cost is in-line with that presentation of the products being offered.

Ein sehr solides und hochwertiges Besteck. Der geschwungene Griff der Gabel liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Keine scharfen Kanten, sehr gut bearbeitet, der Preis ist in Ordnung.
