This cleaning set from Aqqa looks very well made, I particularly like the way how the different cleaning heads attach, and a nice positive push/twist action, the handle and extension are robust being made of carbon fibre and extending up to 700mm in length, plenty long enough for any normal aquarium.The attachments consist of a net, algae scraper, gravel rake cleaner, stiff brush, scouring sponge, and planter fork. All these attachments look fairly well made and fit well onto the handle, unlike the cheaper cleaner I have where the tools simply push onto the handle, the tools on this cleaner stay on and in place when in use.The cleaning sponge is held onto the attachment base with very strong velcro, at first I thought it was permanently glued but thankfully not and can be replaced.The gravel rake is just that and works OK but I can't help but think Aqqa have missed a trick here by not adding a battery-powered pump in the handle for more powerful cleaning, much like the Fluval gravel vac I have.The net is pretty big and not for smaller aquariums as it is quite intrusive, great for larger fish or aquariums though.The algae scraper is fine and has a metal blade or you can also use the plastic blade that also acts as a guard for the metal scraper.The planting fork is very handy, it features a cut-out in the fork for placing plants into before planting.The scrubbing brush attachment features a very stiff brush for scrubbing rocks and stones in or out of the aquarium.I like the quality of this cleaning set, particularly the way the attachments attach to the handle, the only problem is its cost, at £30 it is quite expensive but if you want a set that will last and won't fall to bits in a couple of months then this cleaning set from Aqqa fits the bill perfectly.

By far the best algae scraper I've used. It comes with a bunch of different heads, but honestly I find the sponge and scraper the two I use the most. It is quite big, I have a 240L tank and I would say this is perfect for that size, but could easily still be useful for a tank twice the size. It could obviously work for a smaller tank too, but if you have a cramped space with a lot of aquascaping it may be a bit cumbersome. The thing I like about it the most is that it just doesn't have very much flex and it's very solid. I had a few different versions of this type of cleaner in the past and they flexed way too much, so you could never press hard enough to remove stubborn algae, or even any algae in some cases. The main bar of this is really solid and takes some real pushing before it starts to bend, even when you extend it out. I use the sponge in between larger cleans, just to mop up any light algae, and then I use the scraper during bigger, more full on cleanings to get off the stubborn, more established algae stains.As I mentioned, I haven't really used the other heads much, but they all seem pretty good and useful. The brush worked to scrub my rock now and then, and the net is nice and soft and of good quality. The net is also nice and big. Replacing the sponges should be easy enough, you can stick any velcro backed sponge onto the head, so any velcro sponges you can pick up with do the trick. It's my go-to tool for cleaning my tank and definitely the best I own, outside of the usual magnet glass cleaner.

Das Set ist sehr umfangreich und beinhaltet alles, was man zur Reinigung des Aquariums benötigt. Eine Bürste um die Deko zu reinigen, eine grobe Schaufel um den Aquariumskies zu sieben, einen Schwamm zur Reinigung der Scheiben, ein Fangnetz um die Fische zu fangen und andere Gefäße zu befödern und noch weitere Aufsätze, lassen kaum Wünsche offen.Druch das Schraubgewinde an allen Aufsätzen lassen sich diese sehr gut und sicher mit dem Teleskopstiel verbinden, so das man mit jedem Aufsatz auch in die hinterste Ecke selbst großer Aquarien gelangt.Alles in allem ein tolles Set. Sehr umfangreich und es ist alles dabei, was für eine umfassende Aquarienreinigung nötig ist.

Schwamm, Bürste, Klinge, Netz etc. Nachdem ich die Teile ausprobiert habe, bin ich zu der Erkenntnis gekommen dass eigentlich nur der Schwamm für mich brauchbar ist. Das Netzt kann ich notfalls auch benutzen, allerdings ist mir ein grünes, transparentes Netz lieber als diese weiße fließartige. Der universelle Stil macht aber einen guten, stabilen Eindruck. Die Klinge taugt hingegen gar nichts. Sie ist einfach nicht scharf genug um Algen sicher von der Scheibe zu entfernen. Die Gefahr dabei die Scheibe zu zerkratzen, ist mir dann doch zu hoch. Bei regelmäßiger Anwendung sollte der Schwamm aber auch ausreichen um die Scheiben sauber und Algenfrei zu halten. Dieses Werkzeug wird in mein Equipment aufgenommen der Rest leider nicht. Gemessen daran finde ich den Preis etwas zu hoch angesetzt, da ich persönlich, von dem ganzen Zubehör nur die Bürste verwenden werde.

This is an excellent quality comprehensive set of aquarium cleaning equipment. It has everything that you need in order to keep your tank algae free and also provides a number of the tools for managing your fish stock and aquascaping. All of the accessories are premium quality and made from high density plastics and the carbon fibre telescopic handle is lightweight but provides sufficient stiffness to ensure that cleaning is a breeze.The listing shows the equipment being used in a very small tank, I have a 70 litre tank and with the exception of the scraper all of the equipment is too large to conveniently use, and therefore I would recommend that you only consider purchasing this if you have a much larger tank. Otherwise, I can strongly recommend this set of equipment.
