Leider kann ich nichts über die Funktion der Lampe sagen, da man mir eine defekte Lampe geschickt hat. Der Verpackungskarton war unbeschädigt. Schon der Originalkarton war stark beschädigt . Die Lampe selbst stark eingebeult. Musste sie zurückschicken.Denke aber, wenn sie heile angekommen wäre , hätte sie gut funktioniert. Die Qualität ist gut.Ich frage mich nur, wie es möglich ist, eine solche Lampe überhaupt zu verschicken.

Despite our sad loss of her male companion parrot last year, Henri(etta) defiantly produced three eggs at Christmas, almost sacrificing her health whilst fulfilling male and female roles and not taking time off to eat. Since fixing the lamp on top of her huge cage, she has plucked less and voluntarily sits underneath it. I feel I have persuaded her of artificial day lengths ie shorter ones which mean Winter and are a no-no for starting a family. Her "sun" goes out late afternoon and she is left with gentle lamplight in the evenings. Nearly a year and no more eggs yet. Fingers crossed!

2 bulbs were dimly lit, which isn't how the product appears in any videos. They also don't allow returns so they simply make money selling damaged goods.

This brand was recommended to me by a stellar avian vet (but a different light/fixture) and I ordered this kind accidentally. I decided to keep them anyway, but the hardware isn’t appropriate for large cages. I had to use Zipties on the other ones and would probably have to do that with these. I wish the manufacturer would include, or add to their products, a kit to adapt these to large cages (eg macaws, cockatoos, amazons).

Stabil und sicher für die fliegenden Piepser. An dunklen Tagen gute Ergänzung zur normalen Raumbeleuchtung.

First of all, you insert the bulb. Not hard. Next, you are to unscrew that tiny nut, below my thumb, in the above picture. It doesnt move! And if you try to use a tool, it is designed too poorly to grip and turn it. It would break anyhow. Nothing about the design works AND im out $63.00 plus tax and delivery. Do your research before investing your money in UV lights for your bird. Amazon will not accept it for return by the way. My poor birds now have no UV light, i cant return it and the money i lost could have purchased a UV bulb that is properly designed. Overpriced for the very poor quality and design as well.

Leider ist das Gerät nicht zu den deutschen Markt geeignet!Ein passenden Adapter liegt auch nicht bei daher geht es zurück!

leider ist das Anschlusskabel nicht geschützt, so dass der Papagei die Isolierung des Anschlusskabels anknabbern kann. Leider ist die Klemmplatte auch zu kurz.

Ich bin total zufrieden.Meinem Papagei gefällt es auch.Er fummelt zwar ab und an das Gitter ab.Dieses Problem werde ich anderweitig lösen müssen.
