This is perfect for our chickens, although rather pricey for what it accomplishes. I've also struggled with the extension threads, which sometime do not work, allowing the sections to collapse (making it frustratingly difficult to scoop the far end of the coop).We have been using this scoop, along with the sand/Saturday Lime bedding with a "poop shelf" to keep the coop clean. It's worked great, and the slots are perfectly spaced for this method. If you use the hemp or pine bedding, the clumping of waste isn't quite as easily handled, so your mileage may vary.

If you use sand in your chicken coop and want to clean it like a litter box this is perfect and easy to use! Highly recommend

The scoop is fine, but the telescoping handle does t hold its position consistently so a little frustrating, but glad to have the tool when I need it.
