Our family always wanted a small fire pit in our back yard but we previously used a bunch of bricks to make one, and it kept falling apart and did not keep wood and other flammables contained effectively, so I decided to order this fully metal fire pit ring insert from brand BAITEDELAI with a 35 inch outer circumference and 30 inch inner diameter.We have some really nice large stones we plan to cement directly around the base of this inner portion of our fire pit display now that Spring has fully arrived, and I can tell that the metal is strong enough to hold up in the changing weathers and wet to dry soil, and appears very durable, likewise able to withstand the heat and battering far better than mere bricks or stones alone, could.The pit is attached together with 6 individual parts to the whole, and the instructions are very clear on how to accomplish this with no issue. After that, its just a matter of placement, and adding the exterior rocks to complete the pit and ready it for our first fire.I ordered the 35 inch outer option, but there seems to also be a 34 inch and 40 inch option available from this brand. If there are any issues in the future, I will update, but otherwise and so far, it is a solid 5 star product.

Our chimney that we've had for decades finally gave out and since we already have a gas fire pit we didn't want to spend alot on a wood fire pit that we won't need in our current space for many more years. We have some extra landscape stones, similar to what is seen in the listing so this fire pit insert ring was just what we needed and for an economical price point.The quality of this insert ring is quite good. The metal is substantial, what I would classify as mid range. It's isn't thin but also isn't too thick and heavy. It will not easily bend but with enough force it may. The pieces have some overall weight to it, enough so that I'm not worried about it rusting or bending out of shape quickly or easily. The black matte finish is well done, however, there are a couple of minor chips at the corners. One corner of one of the pieces was also bent out of shape but I was able to straighten it out.Assembly is easy and straightforward, step by step instructions are included. Everything needed to assemble the insert ring is included. Overall this is an very good quality insert. I would note that this is the INSERT RING ONLY and it does not come with a base, frame or lid as it may appear in some of the pictures in the listing.Pros-solid metal build-has venting holes-can be used above ground or in groundCons-bright silver screws (color coordinated black ones would be preferable)The BAITEDELAI 2024 outdoor smokeless fire pit ring is a bit pricey but not unreasonably so.

I had bought a stand alone fire pit for my cottage last year and we used it so much, that we burnt a hole right through the metal. I was looking for something more permanent to use, and this will hopefully outlast the last one.It came well packaged, and has 8 sections for easy assembly. I am bringing this up to my cottage when we go to open it, so the fact that it came disassembled and in a small box it is perfect for transport.The metal seems very strudy and thicker than my previous one. Once the bricks are added around, it will make for an excellent feature, and lots of memories!
