This is by far the best Evangelion figure you can get. The final product is something to behold. The process of making it, however, takes a lot of work and patience.Cons:-Everything about the rubber is true. It is damn near impossible to wrangle it over the inner armature. The worst offenders are the torso and the legs. It may take upwards of an hour to mangle and squeeze the rubber shell over one part, so be prepared. The rubber will also rip and tear at some points, so have some glue.-The hands honestly suck, only the open solid hands look any good.-The stickers are limited, so if you want more detail you need to learn how to apply waterslide decals-The plastic is old, some connections will snap and break. Needing to be glued back on.Pros:-The final model is massive, standing over a foot tall. It beats out the LMs, LM-HGs, and RGs by a significant margin. Hell, its head is as big as the other model's torsos.-The detail is great. You can tell the creators are big fans of NGE. There are a lot of obscure features that are included that make the model stand out.-The lighting function is great, although I wish the eyes light up.-It's sturdy and easy to pose (although with large limitations and range)In all, this is the best Evangelion model you can get, but it will be problematic if you lack any experience in putting them together. Get this model last to complete a collection instead of starting one.

Molto bello si presenta nella sua scatola originale e i pezzi dentro sono tutti ben ordinati. Non so come sia il montaggio perché era un regalo ma è stato molto soddisfatto.

This build is interesting there are alot of parts that feel painful to get just right ie the lights and the plastic covering. The amount of articulation leaves a lot to be desired and is more so like a statue than a figure. All things considered though this model has a presence, the size of this model is the only thing going for this model it is the largest model kit that I personally own which really makes it stick out.

エヴァのプラモデルは初めて買いました。PGと言えば最近SWのミレニアムファルコンが出るまでは、このエヴァ初号機が第一弾で唯一ガンダム系意外の物みたいですね。私はPGZガンダムとPGガンダムMK2を作った事がありました。組立てですが仮組みをする場合はパーツがガッチリはまるのでピンを抜けやすくする等、加工が必要ですね。私は結構外装のピンを折ってしまいました。一通り組み立てに掛かった時間は7時間ほどで組めました。これはPGとして見るならかなり早く作れる方だと思います。あとガンダム系のPGには無いラバーパーツでフレームを包んで作るのですがこれが曲者で無茶苦茶はめずらいです。またラバーパーツに外装をはめる為の穴もニッパーやデザインナイフで開けなければいけません。説明書に載っている様にグリスを塗ってはめましたが苦戦しましたね。これは慣れるしかないです。特に股関節はラバーパーツの穴を広げて作らないと内部パーツがどうなっているのか全く分かりませんでした。また外装パーツや武器はほとんどの部分に合わせ目があり、消して作ろうとするならかなり苦労するかもしれません。色分けもある程度はされていますが細かい部分はシールで補うように出来ています。他にはプラの質が悪いのか古いからなのか折れやすく感じました。特にエントリープラグのギミック部分はすぐに折れてしまいました。フレームはABSみたいなので折れ易いとか無かったですが、外装のピン等もあっさり折れます。発光ギミックがあり肩の部分が光るように出来ています。説明書には上級編として目とコアの部分を光らせる為の改造方法が載っていますが最初から光らせる事を出来るように作っておいて欲しかったです。武器はパレットライフルとナイフ2種、マゴロクソード2種があります。説明書ではどれも装備する為には拳の部分を接着しないといけないので拳を外れるように改造しないと武器に付いたままになります。また接着する部分は拳と胸の外装パーツの一部だけで他の基本的な部分はスナップキットです。一部はビスで止める様に出来ていました。ビスはプラスです。可動はリボルテックやロボット魂の様には、当たり前ですが動かす事は出来ません。間接自体はしっかりしているので自重で倒れたりポーズが付けれない様な事は無いですが可動範囲は広くありません。なので私はちょっと猫背にして足を踏ん張っているポーズで飾っています。このエヴァが発売されたのは1997年12月と説明書に書かれておりもう20年近く前のキットと言う事になるんですね。また私がアマゾンで買ったキットは、初回限定のクレジットカードみたいな物が入っていたので当時物です。安く買えたので特に不満は無かったですが新品を買っていた方が作りやすい物だったのかもしれません。説明書に究極のエヴァンゲリオンと書かれていて、確かに20年前は究極だったのかもしれないですが今の目で見ると作り易さ、可動範囲、色分け等はPGとしてはあまり良く出来ていません。でも今のお手軽なアクションフィギュアとは違い自分で作ると言う行程は他では味わえないです。なので時間が有る人や手間を掛けて完成させる人にはぜひオススメします。また大きい初号機が欲しいという人にも全高が30cm以上あり、オススメできます。
