This is a durable fashionable watch band. It is easy to install and is made of good quality materials. I do wish the sliding band retention ring that holds the excess band in place was not made of metal and didn't slide so easily. It makes it not very useful however after a couple of days of wearing it it hasn't been a big issue. The band does look very nice. I am curious if it will be an issue though the summer with dirt and sweat making it dirty and smelly.

I purchased this band to replace a Velcro wrap band I use on my Garmin Instinct 2X solar. In general, I like the feel of material bands used in both bands. But I wasn't happy with the dust and dirt that collects on the Velcro material.Out of the box as I expected this is a wide band that maintains the 26mm (1.064 inches) width throughout its full length. Installed it looks well-proportioned with a big watch like my Instinct 2X.PositivesFirst of all, this is a great looking band. All the hardware is made from a high-tech-looking flat, black metal with the exception of the quick connect fasteners which are made from molded plastic with a metal top plate. The stitching is first class.It connects quickly to the watch using the Snap-On, spring-loaded connectors. No special tools are required.This band uses a traditional metal tongue fastening system with closely cut holes/slots in the strap to provide length adjustments. The spacing of the holes is 5.5mm (C to C) which gives me a very adjustable range of tightening. This is critical for accurate, stable heart rate measurements. You want to keep the band snug but not restrictive. This band while not as adjustable as a Velcro attachment design works well for me.The strap is solid and very well made using a loop of nylon fabric on each side to create a double thick band. It's flexible and very comfortable on the wrist. It does get wet from sweat, swimming and showers but it’s fast drying and mildew resistant. It also doesn't collect dust, dirt and other items like you see with hook and loop attachment systems.The two robust belt loops included on the band keep excess strap material controlled and out of the way. 1 is sewn in a fixed position just behind the buckle and the other a sliding design that is adjustable. The two loops are simple, and work as expected but I would say the design does not control the loose tip as tightly as a Velcro connector.Negatives:- The band is not infinitely adjustable but the tightly spaced holes in this band do a very good job.- The metal tongue hardware located at the bottom of the band is a hard point that could get caught on items and can scratch soft surfaces.- The extra strap beyond the tongue fastener is controlled by two belt loops but it is not as tightly controlled as a Velcro band design. I would say the loops work similarly to what you get on a factory supplied silicon band.In my opinion these are relatively small negatives. Overall, I'm happy with the operation. This is a good-looking strong band that's easy to put on and adjust. It's ready for adventures. And the look matches my sports watch perfectly. If you like fabric watch bands, this is a very good one to consider.

Feels more comfortable and lighter than the stock band. Will buy another one in different color in the future.

Wow! What an amazing watch band. I was worried about the metal keepers and the NATO strap being to stiff or uncomfortable.This is super comfortable and looks amazing on my Fenix 7x Sapphire Solor.Highly recommend. Much better than other NATO bands I've tried.
