After being thoroughly impressed by the smaller 22mm version of this Fidlock V-Buckle strap, I didn't hesitate to pick up the 26mm model for my Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2. This band delivers the same rugged comfort and fast one-handed adjustability I appreciated the first time around- tho I am still slightly on the less dexterous side so I continue to need a small moment of concentration to get it snapped on.Right away, I noticed how well the black variant plays with the Epix’s black and saphire design. I'm usually someone who leans toward olive or coyote tones, especially when nylon webbing is involved, but in this case, the black really wins. It gives the whole watch a low-profile, tactical edge without taking anything away from the bold styling of the magnetic Fidlock buckle. The material still feels every bit as durable as the narrower version- strong, tightly woven nylon that doesn't chafe, sag, or twist under pressure. The strap holds shape even with when sweaty and it dries quickly. I've worn it through a couple of gym sessions and the office, and I've not had to second-guess the integrity of the magnetic catch. The pull-release system is still the standout feature, snapping together with a confident lock that never gives under motion, but also pops free instantly when pulled from the side. 2 different co-workers noticed the new band and both were impressed- pretty sure they went straight to their shopping cart to order for their Garmin's. Yes, we are all Garmin junkies at my office and I am happy to say I started it all :)Installation was just as quick as before. Garmin's QuickFit system makes swapping bands a breeze, and the connection is secure with no wobble or play once latched into place. That's essential on a heavier watch like the 51mm Epix Pro, where cheaper bands tend to loosen up or fail entirely over time. Many external reviews for both the 22mm and 26mm versions echo similar praise- particularly for the comfort, long-term reliability, and the sheer cool factor of the Fidlock mechanism. I agree across the board, and in my experience, this strap holds up not only in daily wear but also in rugged outdoor environments.Strap balances flexibility and durabilityMagnetic Fidlock buckle allows for secure useBlack style creates a stealthy, cohesive lookBreathes well, dries quickly- too early to tell in terms of longevityQuickFit attachment makes swapping bands a breezeEasily accommodates thicker wrists and heavy watchesCons:If you have a distal injury, the Fidlock takes a second to lock in. That said, this will not apply to 99.9% of all users. No included strap keeper for tucking excess length (though not critical)Limited color options if you prefer brighter or more personalized strapsHOT TAKE:This Mag Fidlock strap has a rugged utility, both urban and tactical style, and economic comfort. It's a no-compromise upgrade for anyone running a Garmin 51mm case, and in my case, it reinforces why I went back to grab this after grabbing the first one for my EDC Garmin. The black color stealthed my Epix Pro Gen 2- without losing that touch of signature design in the buckle.

This isn't the most comfortable strap as it does cause a little irritation from the rough edges on the strap. The quality of the strap is very similar to the quality of the strap when you're strapping your load on the roof of your car with the ratchet clamp. The strap quality is a little harsh and if you have soft skin, this isn't for you. On the plus side, the magnetic clasp is truly a game changer as you'll only need to use the Velcro once to adjust to your wrist and then you simply lock and unlock from the magnetic buckle. You may question that how does it lock in and will it drop off and the answer is no, it will never drop off, nor will it ever open just by itself. You have to physically lift the lip, and then pull up to release and to close, simply bring together and it snaps in place. The V-form is a type of snap on place groove that keeps it in place and the magnetic design ensures it never just opens up by itself.Good design, let down by the harshness of the strap

The better of the 2 aftermarket bands I have gotten for my 7 Sapphire solar. The size fits great and the clasp is easy to take off and even easier to put on while still feeling secure. Happy with the purchase.
