We ordered 2 benches they arrived on time and my husband assembled them quickly. The benches are beautiful but they are not sturdy. Between both benches at least one leg is a little off and our first time sitting on the benches we heard squeaking sounds and they continue to squeak as we sit on them. We only had the benches a couple of months and we almost never sit on them because they do a lot of squeaking. No one wants to sit on squeaking furniture so as far as appearance beautiful, as far as assembling easy, but because the legs are not even and the benches squeak I gave it a one star.

I have a pub height dining table and needed this for a bit of extra seating. I wanted something that would look elegant and stylish but be functional. This fit those marks perfectly. I do need to take about an inch off of the legs as it's just a touch too high for my table- but I knew that was likely when I ordered. The piece appears to be sturdy and well made and was a cinch to put together. My kids and I use it daily and it is holding up perfectly so far (we've had it for about 6 weeks). I am so glad I ordered this- for the price it is a quality seat and I would happily recommend it to others.

Intentionally ordered for 36" countertop height. I cut the legs down by 4" using a $99 compound miter saw set to 6 degree x 6 degrees. I went out and bought the miter saw so am a rookie woodworker. After that I sanded a tiny bevel on each edge of the legs. I tested levelness and was very good but slightly rocking. After placing 1" diameter 3M pads on the bottom of the legs the bench was stable.

This worked perfectly for us! It is stunning from the back. I was able to assemble and stand it upright by myself. Assembly took maybe 60-90 minutes. It was well packaged and no defects. The directions were clear and all pieces were therewell made but after about a month, it’s a little wobbly. However I’ll just re-tighten the bolts and it’ll be good as new.This is Bar height, not counter height. I use it with a counter height table for my small children and it sets them up to the table at the correct height without needing a booster.This did stain pretty easily as the fabric does absorb. I shampooed it and the marks still remain. However it’s not visible when it’s pushed in.This arrived on time and it is very heavy and pretty sturdy. I am happy with this purchase. I would definitely do it again.

We definitely felt like we were taking a risk by purchasing this bench seat, since there were no reviews, and not much detail in the description. However, we're so happy we took the risk, and we're thrilled with the product! For anyone who may have the same questions as I did: The seat is approximately 29" high, which means that it fits perfectly at a bar height (NOT counter height) table or bar. The back part of the bench is 41" high, which comes just below the top of our 42" table, so you can hardly see it when it is pushed in. This is good for us, since I was concerned that it was going to be too big and bulky. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that it's not bulky at all. It is not huge, but it will comfortably fit two average-sized people (weight limit is around 400 lbs, I think, so be cautious of that). The color is pretty close to what is shown in the description photos (maybe a slight shade darker, but not really noticeable), the silver grommets look great (they go all the way across the top and down the sides), and the tufting in the back adds so much character. The color of the wood base is very similar to the photos, as well. The fabric is polyester, which makes it very easy to slide on and off of the bench... your clothes aren't likely to create any friction. Finally, it is very heavy and sturdy, not flimsy in the least bit. The only things we're going to add are those little felt pads to the feet so it can slide better when we try to pull it out from the table, since it's very heavy and the feet are just solid wood (doesn't slide well and would definitely scratch hardwood floors without the pads). I think the only complaint is that my husband (who is very handy) said it wasn't easy to assemble. But once assembled, we love it! And since they make matching swivel barstools, we're going to go ahead and pick those up now, too!
