Nicely built. These are very convenient and I use them in a bunch of places. When coupled with rivet nuts, they are great on rails, tailgates benches and walls. They are also linkable to increase the amount of storage space anywhere you keep rods. The materials are good and Berkeley band for the price is a good deal. These look way better than whatever pool noodle, or insulation you are using now. Plastic exterior with a solid foam insert makes them fit rods well without smashing eyes, or kinking line.

It’s. Are like a Berkley or a Shakespeare Rod and Reel. If you keep this in mind, and hang it the same way you fish with one, you will never need to worry. It’s plastic, it holds the rods well enough, I stand in a stool, when taking the rod down, you definite do not want to jump and grab the pole. It came with the required hardware, I hung mine 42” apart, by choice, it would hold a rod just as good, at any distance you need. If you make a pilot hike with a drill, slide the anchor in, and hand screw it from there. It is easy to over screw, thinking it’s still tightening, and before you know it, Viola, you screwed yourself, and your plastic eyelet in half.

It's the only rod holder I can install in my boat. These are 1000 times better than the old crappy models they made. Finally something that's going to last.
