I was thinking of getting a cheaper plier first, but then decided to go with this brand. I'm glad I did, very solid and works great.I've been consistently using them for various tasks over months and they still look almost like new. I am actually quite impressed at how hard the steel is, considering some of the "abuse" I've put them through. I have a smaller nose pliers as well (same brand) and when those are too small or won't do, I use these, so mostly bigger nails, bending something, holding stuff etc.

No puedo hablar mal de CK cuando he decidido comprar otro alicate de la misma marca y llevaba 15 años con él. Ya los años pedia pasar a una segunda vida más tranquila quedando en la caja de herramientas de una segunda residencia. Con 15 años mi CK seguia cortando clavos y tornillos como el primer dia....La unica pega que le veo es que no tiene en stock el alicate siguiente que es un pelin más grande que es el que me gusta.Si hubiera el grande le compraría también pero en su defecto volvería a comprar este...Ya veremos en 10 años si los sigue teniendo amazon!!!

Having experienced most of the traitionally good pliers getting blunt far more quickly than they used to, decided to try these.First impressions, the sharpest pliers I have ever had, eccellent for stripping inner sleeving from pvc.They have also stayed sharp for longer than any others I have had lately even though I use them to cut 10mm, not a clean cut as they will not do it in one but they get there.Only criticism they are too short for leverage, not the pliers fault, I ordered them by mistake so not taking away any stars for it and have ordered the 205mm ones like I should have in the first place, my mistake.
