My son wore this for prom. He has dreamt of doing a steam punk theme for ever for prom. The jacket is amazing! The feel and quality is way better than costume but not expensive high end. He can use it for years to come and I expect that it will hold up wonderfully! !

It's important to note this is a COSTUME article (which is why it is inexpensive) so do not expect something you can wear repeatedly. Also the pockets are for looks only, they are not functional. I purchased this as part of a steampunk costume for Halloween and I it looks great. Based on the fact that it's a costume piece and I think it serves it's purpose more than adequately (for its price), I only gave it 4 starts instead of 5 because it does not come in XXL (so it's a tad snug on me).

The coat is great, exactly what we were looking for, quality made, and shipped very quickly (estimated arrival was 10/5-10/23, it arrived 10/2!) It does run small though. My husband wears a 38, so we ordered medium, which is supposed to be 38-40. He can barely button it, and when he does he can't raise his arms. Sleeves are a little short also. It is for a costume, so it isn't going to be a big issue, just wish we had ordered a large.

Purchased the unique coat for the look and because of the under $60 price. The item arrived early and great brown/burgundy fabric. Black faux leather trim and lots of details. However, I now know that this item is only for show. I could never wash it and the buckles would rip off used a couple of times. LOOKS amazing from a distance but up close not so much. Overall a good price for the look but serious lack in construction quality.
