I ordered this to help support a sagging back yard gate. I made the gate out of composite wood leftover from a wall to hide our trash bins. This stuff is very heavy and after a few years has made the gate sag so bad that we just prop it open and don't use it anymore. I attached this support wheel to a board and clamped it to the gate so that I could get the positioning correct before I drilled three holes to hold it in place. I am glad I tested it first because although it will support the heavy weight of the gate the wheel just gets buried in the grass underneath it. I need to look for more like tractor wheels and that may work better for my situation.This is a well made bit of kit and comes with all the hardware to install it. The unit itself is heavy duty and I have no doubt that it will support the weight claimed. Unfortunately it did not work for this project, but I have an idea to use it in the garage to support a closeable tool wall idea I have been working on.If this is a viable solution for your situation then I would say go for it. If you have grass as opposed to a harder surface for the wheel to run on this will probably not work for you. I still can recommend it for the price as it was heavy duty and came with mounting hardware.....

With all parts necessary for install, this was an easy install. I has been 5 months & I see no fatigue from the weight applied. I have a bi-fold 40" x 10' swing gate. this was placed on the gate fold. It certainly makes the gate open with less effort. I would recommend.

This gate wheel is easy to install and works better than the farm store gate wheel I have on a different gate. It has a good sturdy weight to it so I don't doubt its longevity. Comes with everything you need to install, for my gate I just needed a small piece of 2x4 and it was good to go. It's so nice not having to pick up and drag that sagging gate anymore.

I bought this to support my wooden yard fence gate. It was starting to sag, which was causing the latch to come out of alignment. By installing this wheel support I was able to bring the latch back into proper alignment. Will also prevent future sagging of the gate/hinges.

Durch die starke Federleistung und das große Rad kann ein Tor - das sich gesenkt hat- wieder auf den Anfangsstand gebracht werden.

The roller is easy to install and helps to prevent sagging. If you need help to install it, lots of YouTube videos are out there. All rollers work better on the hard ground surface, not as well on soil and grassy ground. The roller on my gate sits on a relative harder surface with gravels under the soil, which helps to prevent sagging.
