When the Stanley Heavy Duty Staples TRB506T (see photo) were no longer available I had to find another suitable 3/8" (10mm) crown staples for my dad's old electric staple gun (see photo). After some time researching, I fell upon these crown staples and they work just fine. My dad couldn't of been happier LOL.

I have a very-very old Bostitsch cardboard stapler that has been handed down the family for a couple of generations. The big box hardware stores no longer don't carry the proper staples. As I did not want to retire the stapler, I did some internet searching. While the stapler model number is not listed on the cross index, I searched for similar models by the manufacturer. I guessed right. Hurrah!
