Bought to replace my very old Toyota machine. Boy, where have I been! A machine ( I understand it’s common now) that threads itself!!! I haven’t used it much so far but it’s making me want to do some serious sewing! After intensive research ( that’s the way I rock!) I chose this model. Good reviews, ease of use for both beginners and intermediate users. It has enough stitches and I love the fact that the bobbin is on top not on the side. The machine can be used with or without the pedal. Pricing was good too (£389) at the time of purchase for a machine with enough pluses, extra bits etc and computerised. I’m very pleased.My only beef is with Amazon delivery system. I had given the option to hide it behind my recycling if I wasn’t home. Instead it was left right in front of my door for everyone to see!!! Thank God my video door bell had alerted me and I got a neighbour to run over and grab it for me! Not impressed as it’s not the first time this has happened.

I bought this when my old machine broke. I had read the reviews and agree it’s a great machine. Perfect for beginners safe enough to let my granddaughter use it. Highly recommend

This machine has surpassed my expectations. It’s sew beautifully and very quietly. It is quite solid and stable. It has lots of extras such as I can use 3speeds. It’s easy to use the self threader. I love the lock stitch that I can use at the start of stitching and at the end. It’s not as lightweight as some machines but it’s not too heavy to lift. I love this . It’s a good all rounder. I haven’t seen any jeans with it yet but I have been assured that it would cope with the hem using correct needles .

mais... à ce jour, l'enfile aiguille automatique ne fonctionne plus et le fil supérieur casse sans arrêt

Die fünf Sterne sind derzeit definitiv Vorschußlorbeeren, aber ich gehe davon aus, daß eine Brother-Nähmaschine tut was sie soll.Die Bewertung wird beizeiten aktualisiert, aber bis dahin mag ich mich schonmal meinem Vorbewerter anschließen: Die Maschine ist, wenn sie geliefert wird, nicht startbereit - man braucht einen Adapter. Amazon gewährt netterweise entsprechenden Preisnachlaß, weshalb ich die Maschine nicht wieder durch die halbe Welt zurückschicken werde, auch wenn ein Originalkabel die hübschere Variante gewesen wäre...
