We love our Burley Bee for bike adventures w the kids. We didn't want to buy the Honey Bee because a) extra 5 lb weight and b) we really don't walk around w our bike trailer - have a dedicated stroller already. That being said, sometimes we just gotta pop into a store quickly while out on a bike adventure but we live in a big city where it can be difficult to find large enough spaces to park the trailer.Enter this perfect solution. Love the ease of transition between biking and strollering. Literally a 5 second job.Yes, it fits to the Burley Bee hitch! Just a few helpful tips tho... First, you'll need to unscrew the plastic 'arm' on this one wheel attachment. It is blocking the view of the end of the bolt after you thread it thru the hitch. Then you will need to patiently and delicately just barely attach the nut to the bolt. Because of the way it is manufactured, that space is VERY tight. That is why some reviewers mentioned they drilled a new hole etc. Not necessary if you thread it carefully on, just barely on, before you use a wrench to hold it still while the allen key on the other end goes to work tightening the whole thing. Finally, screw the black arm thing back on. Ta-dah!We did not DIY a stroller handle for the Bee because the frame worked just fine for pushing for the minimal amt of strollering we needed. Eg. On way back from a bike adventure, i was easily able to pop into a grocery store w my kid inside the trailer, grab some fruits with one hand, and push the trailer w other hand to the cashier area. It is one slick and smooth system! Love it!

It’s been great so far. The instructions was clear and easy to follow. The only thing to look out for, maybe it’s just me, is carefully not to hit it when walking with your bike with the trailer attached. It tends to come loose and switches to stroller mode. It hasn’t caused any minor performance to the bike and trailer, especially when riding when the wheel is down. It’s a must have if your baby can’t walk on their own, especially when you’ve put them in and the trailer doesn’t lean forward.

Sehr praktische Lösung, Anbau problemlos und stabil genug. Ein- und ausklappen funktioniert ohne hakeln. Stört nicht beim Fahrbetrieb des Anhängers. Finde das eine bessere Lösung als den Ständer für den Anhänger, da der Anhänger beweglich bleibt.

Der Wagen läuft willig hinter mir her, lässt sich gut lenken. Am ersten Tag bin ich 7,5 km damit gelaufen, beladen war der Hänger mit einer Kiste Bier, einem Sack Vogelfutter und zwei gefüllten Kartons, zusammen gute 30kg. Hat Spaß gemacht.

Verarbeitung geht so, der Sicherungsbolzen am Fangriemen ist bereits nach einem Jahr abgegangen und muss jetzt einzeln eingesteckt werden. Nicht ganz so tragisch, aber doof.Zum Glück wird das Rad beim Schieben nicht so sehr belastet, denn der Kunststoff und der Gummi machen keinen guten Eindruck.Das Ein- und Ausklappen geht recht einfach.Das Rad ist leider sehr wichtig, wenn man den Fahrradanhänger auch mal einzeln z.B. in den Zoo mitnehmen möchte. Dadurch ist der Wagen stabil und sehr wendig.Der Preis von 70€ ist eine Frechheit.Im Verhältnis zum gesamten Wagen recht teuer.Bisher hält das Rad gut durch und hoffentlich auch weiterhin.

We couldn't do without this on our Burley D'Lite 2018 edition. If you cycle somewhere with the trailer and then want to walk anywhere using it as a 3 wheeled buggy you just flip this wheel down and unhook from the bike, making the whole thing a lot more flexible.It does stick out the front a bit, so if we are using the trailer as a just a buggy for the day rather than cycling, I fit the other optional buggy wheels instead.

Ich hatte mir nicht besonders viel von dem Rad versprochen und hätte es zurück geschickt, wenn sich meine Vermutung bestätigt hätte. Um so erstaunter war ich, als ich das Rad montiert hatte (wichtig: die Radstange wird weiter hineingeschoben als die Deichsel für den Fahrradbetrieb!): es läuft sehr gut.Ich bin so begeistert von dem Rad, dass ich den Tail Wagon mit zum Wandern in die Pfalz genommen habe. Er diente dort einer 16jährigen nierenkranken Hündin als Transportmittel, wenn die nicht mehr laufen konnte oder wollte.

Mit dem Rad funktioniert man den Burley binnen 1 Sekunde vom Anhänger zum Laufwagen um. Die Deichsel kann man übrigens soweit reinschieben, dass sich die Wagenlänge auf ca. 90 cm verkürzt. (steht leider nicht in der Anleitung!)

Prodotto Made in china ma di buona qualità all'altezza di un marchio come burley;l'ho utilizzata con il tail wagon ed è veramente comodissima!!Unico neo: la vite, una volta inserito lo stroller risultava troppo corta e l'ho dovuta sostituire..

Top Produkt welches einen sehr stolzen Preis hat aber durch seine Funktionalität zu überzeugen weiß. Erst dadurch is der Burley richtig komplettisiert. Ich liebe es den Wagen jederzeit ohne Montage am Fahrrad anzubringen oder abzukoppeln. Einfach Rad hoch oder herunter klappen und fertig.
