Das Teil habe ich am 26.06 gekauft aktuell sieht es so aus die Gummidichtung zur Heckscheibe Platzt ab wird rissig, Gummirung am Knopf ist gerissen bei einer Normalen Nutzung des Schalters (1-2 Mal Betätigen des Schalters)Elektrisch funktioniert er tadellos

This part is for newer BMW estate car glass hatches.These cars have , as expected, removable switches , which allow simple and easy replacement.My wife's 2006 BMW estate has a ridiculous permanently moulded on integral switch.The switch looks identical to the removable type switch but this moulded switch will need cutting off , with potential glass breakage, cable damage or both.Abandoned the job, advised my wife that the glass hatch access is not working , and just use the main hatch for access to the loading area .

Bei meinem Auto war der Schalter leider kaputt und mir hatte jemand die Abdeckung zur ,,Elektronik‘‘ geklaut. Des Wegen der neue und er passt und macht seine Arbeit und endlich kann ich die Scheine hinten benutzen. Ist wahrscheinlich so China Blödsinn aber dann kaufe ich mir das in 1-2 eben neu und es wird wieder funktionieren 🙃🤓

Switch is spot on replacement - didn’t take long to fit - if you find your glass tailgate pops open when driving it’s this switch that needs replacing - once fitted it works a treat now - not OEM but works and a lot cheaper

The notable differences between this copy and the original BMW part are apparent when looking from the back. There is no aluminium centre ring where the wiper spindle goes through, the silicone edging seal is different and the construction is less substantial. However, despite these differences the replacement part looks fine once fitted and works faultlessly.Fitting is relatively straightforward. In my case the rear window was seized shut due to the original switch being faulty and I had no idea how to get it open. A quick search on the internet revealed some extremely helpful videos showing how to manually open the rear window with basic tools and fit the new switch.The replacement part is great value for money and has made my tailgate window fully operational again.
