I took a look at the product page before writing and noticed a variety of reviews... reviews that have a different product pictured... with different design, and suction cups... yet the only item I see for sale is the one I have, a floor-sitting hide. So it appears product listings were combined. Just wanted to note that.The #1 thing you'll need to do here is measure the space you're considering filling in your terrarium, and imagine this in that space. It is a solid 9" long by 5.1" wide. It's absurd to say that this is too small or too big: it all depends on the size of your lizard and the size of your terrarium.The exterior has a nice non-toxic resin realistic faux-wood look to it, while the interior is mostly smooth. It comes with a temporary plastic feeding dish, which is a little weird. It should come with the equivalent of a tree manhole cover. If you're not going to use it as a feeding location, it'd be nice to have the option to cover it with something equally bark-like. We all have disposable plastic feeding cups, right?It looks natural, easy to hose off, perhaps a little pricey, but a decent addition to the habitat.

I have been seeing CAVACHEW pop up in my recommended products lately and I am so happy so get the opportunity to try out their products.This hide has a nice, decent weight to it. One thing I ALWAYS do when getting new reptile hides is to feel around all of the edges and edges to feel for sharp spots that could be harmful. The texture of this is rough and it will absolutely help out with shedding. But I did not feel like there were any manufacturing defects that I needed to correct before putting this in the enclosure.The top food bowl contains a black feeder dish - if you have arboreal geckos, you might be familiar with the style as many are sold with this kind of thin, flatter plastic cup. Mine came with a couple of different cups. I haven't decided if I want to use this for food, water, or just calcium as it will be going in my leopard geckos tank. I wouldn't want to clean food or poop off of this due to the texture. I know poop COULD still happen, but my girl definitely tries to keep it to a corner so I'm not as concerned about that.I did not include a photo because the images included on the page are a very accurate representation. This is a little on the heavier side.So far I like it. And I am considering ordering another for a different animal.

Also mir gefällt diese "CAVACHEW Höhlen & Verstecke für Reptilien & Amphibien, 2 in 1 Reptilien..." sehr gut. Man kann sie gut im Terrarium einsetzen und nah am natürlichen Aussehen bleiben. Natürlich muss man immer vorher schauen ob sie zu den jeweiligen Tieren passt. Der Futternapf ist recht klein. Es kommt auch hier darauf an welche Bedürfnisse vorhanden sind ...für Fruchtgelles aber sehr gut. Es liegen noch 2 weiter Ersatzeinsätze für die "Futterstelle" bei. Ansonsten wie auf den Abbildungen. Kaufempfehlung.

Ich habe in der Vergangenheit schon ab uns zu mit "echtem" Material gearbeitet aber die Erfahrungen damit waren nicht die besten... Die Hygiene ist am Ende des Tages einfach nicht zu 100% gegeben und mögliche giftige Substanzen sind ob man will oder nicht ein Thema, gerade Holz ist von seinem Handling her diesbezüglich nicht unkompliziert.Man kann und sollte nicht auf Verstecke bzw Höhlen als Rückzugsorte verzichten und ich finde dieses aus Harz gefertigte Konstrukt wirklich sehr gelungen, optisch kommt es Holz sehr nahe und erfüllt zudem alle Ansprüche an Sicherheit die ich für meine Tiere bei Verwendung eines Verstecks oder einer Höhle habe.Bei dieser "Höhle" ist die Reinigung völlig unkompliziert, das Ganze passt einfach, erspart Arbeit und Sorgen die man mit Naturmaterialien in dieser Richtung hat.Die mitgelieferten Schalen finde ich zwar haptisch etwas dünnwandig aber sie erfüllen ihren Zweck, in meinem Fall nutze ich sie für kleine Leckerbissen...Ich habe an dem Teil nichts zu kritisieren und kann daher 5 Sterne vergeben, für das sehr gute Preis- Leistungsverhältnis gibt es auf jeden Fall eine Kaufempfehlung.
