If you carry a backpack or over the shoulder bad with valuables (electronics, files, wallet) in it, you want to be able to find it. Did I leave it at security, on the subway, at the office? More importantly, if it disappears or someone grabs it, you need to track it immediately or sayonara. And, even if you forgot it innocently, the person that finds it may not be a Good Samaritan. The obvious, inexpensive solution for an iPhone user-- an Apple tracker. But...that's what a thief or the selfish person who finds your stuff will look for. They'll toss it right away. And they're small. Where's it supposed to go? If you put it in your wallet or pursue, what happens we you take that out of the bigger bag. This kit allows you to install a tracker holder in an unobtrusive place-- behind a tight strap, on the inside of a handle or shoulder strap, etc. It is super secure-- screwed on-- so it's not going to fall off and a crook isn't going to find it if you think twice where to install it. The kit has everything you need to install it, including the small tools. If you follow the instructions, it's straightforward. Make sure you pick the spot where you want it carefully; I don't think you want to remove and reinstall unless you absolutely have to. If you ride the subway or are in and out of a lot of airports. Good product for a specific need.

These are nice Air Tag holders, with a good mounting system to put on bag straps, although it would work on any type of material that you can poke a hole through, and that isn't too thick for the mounting screws. You can either poke holes in the strap, or if it's not too wide, you can mount the tag holder across the strap using the backing piece on either side. When properly installed, these should stay on very well, although if you've got a bag that you are using all the time, it would be good to tighten the screws occasionally. You could easily put this tag holder on a coat, suitcase, purse or briefcase that doesn't have a strap (or that doesn't have a strap with a good place to attach it), if you can find a place with thin enough fabric (like through a liner) to attach it. The screws were only about .25" in length, but you could probably find longer ones if you wanted to put this on something thicker.I was hoping I could use one of these on my dog's collar, but it is a bit too bulky, and the attachment piece would make the collar uncomfortable. It's possible these would be okay on a very large dog's collar, but for my 40-pound dog it was a little too large.All the tools required for installation were included, along with extra screws and gaskets, so I can't imagine that this tag holder would wear out unless you were really tough on it. It's very thick plastic, and the four screws in the corners tighten down really well. I would highly recommend this style of tag holder if you need durability and good tag protection.
