Meal times with my toddler can be a chaotic affair, with plates often ending up on the floor. The suction on the bottom of these is really strong; I stuck one to the highchair tray and it did not budge, even with some determined tugging from the little one. This meant the food actually stayed on the tray for a change. The metal construction means I don’t have to worry about it cracking or breaking when it inevitably gets dropped from a height. The separate compartments are useful for keeping different foods from touching, which seems to be very important business for a two-year-old. Best of all, they are incredibly easy to clean, with no strange corners for food to get stuck in. They have made our mealtimes a little less stressful.

This 4 piece stainless steel plate and bowl set is a great durable alternative for kid's dinnerware. Easy to use, easy to clean.The suction cups in the bottom are a nice addition, but I would only rely on them to avoid accidental skills rather than protect against intentional attempts by a child to upturn their dinner. The silicone bottoms for the plates in particular are very easy to circumvent.The listing says microwave safe. These are not microwave safe. Do not put metal in the microwave. The silicone surround for the bowls can be used separately as their own bowl (which is a massive plus), those silicone parts can go in the microwave.This 4 piece stainless steel plate and bowl set is selling for £32.98 at the time of this review. There are cheaper alternatives available.
