I got this as I always had an ambition to make lovely cocktails for friends.The BarBits Cocktail Muddler is a must-have tool for anyone interested in creating perfect cocktails. It comes from a UK-based company specialises in selling bar accessories.The copper-plated finish looks great and feels chunky and well made.The muddler features a serrated base that is perfect for releasing the flavours in herbs and berries in your cocktail drink. It's an alternative to traditional wooden muddlers, especially when it comes to crushing ice and fruit sugar. The rubber base also helps prevent glass breakage, making it a safer option.I did try to crush ice with it and it worked fine, however, I think it is better in a metal container, rather than a glass one.The ergonomic round top handle makes it easy to handle and control. The muddler is designed to be dishwasher safe.This muddler is perfect for creating delicious, aromatic cocktails such as Caipirinhas and Mojitos. This BarBits cocktail muddler is a thing of beauty! I chose the copper (it’s copper plated steel) and it gleams in a classy, understated kind of way, a perfect contrast against my chrome cocktail shaker and multiple gin bottles.It’s long enough and strong enough to crush ice, fruit, herbs, berries. The serrated base does a great job. It’s not just great for the look of it - the aroma and flavours that are released are just wonderful.So far it’s made the best mojito ever (repeatedly!) Am looking forward to extending our repertoire.This would also make a great gift for any cocktail lover. The usual current price of £10.95 feels fair to me, but its also on offer at the moment. Love it.

We already owned a cocktail muddler as we do like a Mojito, but this one looks much nicer than ours.The copper is very shiny and looks good if left on the side. It i made from stainless steel, but is copper plated, looks great though.It isn't super weighty, but it is solid and the rubber end seems solid, and more serrations for muddling than ours.All in all, at £8.95, I think that this is well made and seems good value for money.
