This little cable routing toolkit arrived just at the perfect time, as I wanted to swap around the brake levers on a new carbon frame MTB which came with a Euro style setup. This also entailed moving around a couple of other things so I also had to reroute a Di2 cable and a dropper post cable, so had a chance to try out a few of the attachments. I didn't need to run the new cables too far but even so this toolkit made the job a lot easier and eliminated a lot of the faffing and swearing that is usually involved in dealing with internal cable routing. The only minus point was that it didn't seem to grip the Di2 cables that well, on my bike they are the slightly smaller EW-SD300 style so it might have been designed for the EW-SD50 cables. I also would have appreciated a double ended barb attachment for when you want to replace a cable outer or hose that's already routed with a new one. Despite those minor issues it's a good little tool at a fraction of the price of something like the Park Tool version and works almost as well.

Anche te alle prese con i dolori dei passaggi cavi interni? Ecco la soluzione! Kit semplicissimo e facile da usare. I magneti sono potenti, e su un telaio in carbonio tirano bene la sonda, ovviamente bisogna andare piano. Ha dentro i raccordi filettati per i tubi freno o le guaine del cambio, assieme a quelli per i cavi shimano Di2. Ovviamente poi si adatta a tutto, basta usare del nastro isolante per unire la coda al cavo che si vuol tirare. Pratico e funzionale.

Feeding internal cables through a frame is always annoying- so I going this cable set would help. Sadly it's didn't last through a single installation. The connectors here are very small and made of weak pot metal- where a high strength steel was needed. So a couple of the connectors broke in use. Also I got no use out of the magnet- it wasn't quite strong enough to fish the cable lead through the frame.

Internal routing is great until you have to run a new cable in, especially if the old one has already been removed or it's a brand new frame. This little kit should make life much easier for routing all sorts of different cables through your frame. Definitely worth having in the toolbox these days.

I ordered the CYSKY Bike Internal Cable Routing Tool Kit - Cable Guide Kit - for Shifter Cable and Brake Line Easily Through the Frame.We could have used this a few weeks ago when running some cabling so I decided to pick it up when given the opportunity. I tested this by opening the storage door on my down tube on my mountain bike and putting the magnetic cable puller inside the carbon frame and then using the magnet on the outside to pull the cable along and it worked just fine. This set comes with a couple of attachments for different types of pulling operations.Overall, 5 stars for now.
