The cartridges are used in the Dead Down Wind Scout, a novel way to track wind direction while hunting. There are lots of products that will track a breeze, but this will identify an air current that you may not even realize is there!

The Amazon ad pages were confusing to me as was the picture. I thought this came with the device and the cartridges, but it does not. This item is only the two small cartridges. You still need to purchase the unit itself for $19.95.

Wind direction is very important in hunting feral hogs. This device is easy to use and the wind direction is know. Very good device!

Good device to determine the wind's direction. Make sure to replace the cap after each use. Failure to replace it will cause the cartridge to empty.

Great concept but I could not get these to work on a consistently. Hit or miss.When they work they are nice. Unfortunately they don't work most of the time. Charged and put new cartridge and still no better.Would be cheaper to buy e-cig. Would be smaller and eork like a champ.
