Needed to rework some stone and last min finishing to the edges, this kit worked and easily cut the stone so I could finish the job and get home on time for dinner...while it was still warm :)Comes with all sizes depending on what level of detail your looking for

What I use these bits for is to sharpen the edge of yard tools. That's probably not what they're intended for but if you want to put an edge on hedge clippers, pruners, an ax, a lawn mower blade, et cetera these do the job. By using the rotary tool, you can rest your hand along the edge of the table and pretty smoothly run it along the edge to sharpen it. This wont get it razor sharp but lawn tools generally are not supposed to be. They held up fine and fit the rotary tool. This seems to be a good grit so that you can put a pretty good edge on a tool quickly. I'm happy with them, and they're cheaper than what you could buy from the name brand.

I used these to file down some rough edges on some PVC I cut. These worked very well for that. The shanks are long allowing for reach. I think these would fit my full-sized drill but my Dremel is easier to control for finer work on smaller surfaces. I did not cut anything hard with these bits but I think they would hold up fairly well with other materials. I did not notice any of the bits getting dull with use. They seem durable.

For now the only issue is that I received 51 instead of 52. I haven't tried them yet, I will update the review later once I test them. They all look coated with diamond, so for now I will put 4 stars due to the missing piece.

I have a (very) old Dremel tool which I inherited from my father. When I saw this set of twenty-four-piece set of diamond grinding bits (in various grits) that are compatible with a Dremel tool, I ordered them. They are designed for carving stone and glass, but I was hoping to use them first for polishing any number of old tools that I have before trying my hand at carving some of the marble and granite pieces I have in my home.So when these came I grabbed my Dremel tool, opened up the bits and set to work. Unfortunately, over the years I think the Dremel tool has changed. The bits that I have that fit into my Dremel, but these new bits are much wider and won’t fit into the tool that I have. But necessity is the mother of invention, so I grabbed my battery drill and put one of these diamond bits into the drill (no problem there) and started polishing away.It worked fine, cleaning off the accumulated grunge from an old hand sickle that I have from my grandparents (and my grandfather was born in 1861). I worked at it for quite some time, and the diamond bit didn’t look all that much different at the end than it did at the beginning. My hand was another matter. I don’t recommend that you do this too often with a hand drill! The cost of these bits is amazing! I ordered the 34-piece set (because I received it through the Vine Program), but you can get the 52-piece set for only $1 more. What a deal for a good set of tools.
